The Wings can actually make the playoffs with the team we have, that is what frustrates me personally

I don't do the post game recap anymore because it was becoming more negative than positive. Not because I grew negative, but because winning didn't matter to me as much as how we won did. And how we won, often was because of poor decisions on other teams' parts, not because of our skill.

If it takes a team having a bad day for us to win, that's an issue. I didn't want to say that earlier in the season, especially because nobody wants to hear that after a win, but I'm saying it now because of where we are. Wings had horrible habits early season, midseason, and now. We've fixed some issues, but the ones that made us lose before are still making us lose now. And I'm not the only one to see that. This goes beyond individual player choices. The Wings have a leadership issue, and until they are willing to address it, the Wings will not fly.

We have issues, we have flaws, we have inefficient patterns, selfish patterns, bad decisions, but I believe in this team. We had a lot of bad games recently, ones we should have won, could have won. That we lost because of one person, or two, or sometimes as a team, but I believe in this team. I believe in the work, I believe in the chemistry, I believe in the effort.

I don't know, I feel like we're so close to success, we just need a push. That push just feels like it has to be bigger and bigger the more setbacks we have, but I just know it's possible. I don't care what it seems like, I believe in this team.
