Today is yesterday and today is 5 years ago.

Today is the day I nonchalantly matched your stride and talked about time passing subjects that didn’t matter to me, with words I don’t remember in the slightest. While my entire existence shuddered to tell you I want to discuss unimportant nothings with you forever. I grabbed that instinctual urge, folded it into neat, packable pieces and locked it away.

Today, I weave particles of your past self into somebody I will carry with me into eternity.
