HEY HEY, GUYS!
I know itâs been awhile trust me, Iâve missed blogging myself. So letâs jump right in!
For months Iâve searched for this clay mask, I lost count how many times I called different stores asking if they had this product in store. This past weekend I hit gold at Vitamin Shoppe, scooped up.
Even the cashier as she was checking me out said she has a customer buy 20 of these, I was shooked! When I got home I thought I thought to myself âDang, Shouldâve gotten of theseâ. LOL Soo yesterday I got the chance to use the mask, the recipe isnât complicated at all.
Aztec Mask Recipe:
Three tablespoons of Aztec Secret Indian healing clay.
Three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
One plastic or glass bowl.
One wooden or plastic mixing spoon.
Optional: You could add a couple drops tree oil or lavender oil if you want.
*Never use a metal spoon or bowl *
This was my set-up for the mask & after I applied the mask, I used a regular plastic container & plastic spoon. Once youâve mixed in all your ingredients youâll see some bubbling, make sure to mix gently donât overwork the mixture. Once youâve gotten most clumps and you have a good consistency youâre ready to apply to the face. I used the spoon to spread over my face, itâs normal to feel a little tingle & pulsating on my face its normal. It means the mask is doing what itâs supposed to be doing.
âBentonite clay can contain calcium and sodium, though the more common type used for cosmetics and skin care is calcium bentonite. This type of clay is mined from many parts of the world. Itâs often found in the USA, including the states of Wyoming, Montana, Texas, and Arizona. Itâs also found in many countries around the world, including France, Egypt, India, etc.
Bentonite itself is a soft, porous and light colored rock. Itâs made of minerals from the montmorillonite or smectite group, and colloidal silica. It was formed during the alteration of igneous materials or volcanic action. Itâs ground up into powder form and then sold in containers. Since this clay contains basic minerals, itâs safe to use externally. The consumer can mix up their own clay mask recipes.â
How to Apply on Face:
Apply the clay mask to your face with your fingers.
You can use a cosmetic sponge or cotton ball if you wish.
Apply the face mask down your neckline if you have extra.
Take a break and let your clay mask sit for 20 to 30 minutes.
Itâs normal to feel a tingling sensation on your skin as it dries.
The clay mask will contract as your face absorbs the trace minerals.
After the time is up, or before the clay mask completely dries up, youâll want to wash it off with warm water and a soft washcloth.
Itâs recommended that you use the Aztec clay mask once a week
It could be a little tricky to wash off is my only con, it takes awhile. Just rinse off with warm water and make circular motions on your face to break down the dried mask. Rinse well & oat down with a towel. I followed the mask with some toner water on a cotton ball to finish my face mask.
If youâre interested in purchasing the clay mask its available for purchase on Amazon, Vitamin Shoppe(In-Store & Online), Walmart (Online only). Cheapest place tho Vitamin Shoppe less than 9 dollars compared to other stores.
