hi anon this is really cute….

i hc qifrey as having some unconventional scent allergies (smoke/incense, heavy perfume, sensitive nose but not generally very allergy prone etc…) walk with me here for a second it’s really silly but im so amused by the idea of kalhn having some fancy schmancy pet groomers and the girls BEGGGGG and beg to take the brushbuddy for a spa day, of course qifrey caves but he ends up being horribly allergic to whatever little cologne they put on him😭

Those first stages of illness, when it's a sore, raw throat and an irritated feathery feeling in the back of the person's throat, prompting a cough here and there.

They try to reason. Try to tell themselves that it's just the dry air. That they didn't hydrate enough.

Yet they also feel a bit dizzy whenever they do mkre than sit. They are just a tad too warm so even the slightest breeze feels like the sharp edge of a gust of arctic wind. They can't tolerate even the faint breeze of an open window in summer without pulling 😒 cardigan over their shoulder. Because yes, they are coming down with something, no matter how hard they try to tell themselves they're fine.

Ridiculously niche scenario I’m fixated on rn. Character who’s very self sufficient is sick and goes over to their fridge in pyjamas and a blanket but even that is like too chilly for them. Shivering and sneezing in the light of a fridge is such a fun visual and maybe they go lie down afterwards on the floor realizing this fever might be worse than they anticipated
