Yeah, like an... open thing. That's a bummer though. [Luke's phone buzzed and he quickly returned the text.] I gotta run downstairs and get something. I'll be right back.

You still could. The Fabrays have been bl-blonde for generations. There's a good chance red hair is a recessive trait of ours.

Yeah, it's not out of the question. Just wondered if we had any evidence. [Luke chuckled.] But we'll have to wait and see. I know they'll be absolutely perfect no matter what.

[Luke looked slightly disappointed. ] I thought maybe Frannie and I could possibly make another ginger baby. So Theo would have a cousin who looked like him.

Exactly. It'll still be hard for him when he's old enough to understand. But Ben and Bax will make sure he has all the support he needs.

...do you know if there's any gingers in your extended family?

N-Not even pictures? Oh, poor Theodore...

I don't think so. His mother was AWOL from Grandma Alice during that time and she's not exactly the most giving person.

He d-definitely is. Do we know much about his biological parents? I'd be curious to kn-know if he's going to be tall or short.

Um, I mean Grandma Alice isn't very tall. And I don't think her daughter was either. I don't know if anyone's ever seen the bio father. It was hard enough to find him at all.

[Keegan nodded.] Sadly, Aiden only has one set of shoulders. Although I do w-wonder if he could hold them both once Theodore is a little bigger and can hold on by himself better.
