Stiles Stilinski 100% done with everyone who haven’t watched Star Wars
‘Yeah sure, Stiles. Take care to not hit yourself with it,’ Derek said, shaking his head wryly at the sight of the other fumbling for the bat and missing it by a mile. Studying the teen up close, he could see just how haggard the other’s face looked, contoured drastically by the dim shadows of moonlight, the vivid curves of his face colored mature and grave. Sobering, he ventured fowards, closing the distance between him and the teen, ‘are you alright?’
The familiar voice oddly comforted him. Of course Derek would show up in his room in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason. That was just what Derek did. He looked up from his position on the bed as Derek came closer to him with concern and Stiles dismissed it. “I’m fine. I was just-” Stiles shook his head. “I’m fine.” he repeated hoping that would settle things. He was aware that the others carefully monitored his emotional state even if it wasn’t fair with all the wolf powers and just general werewolfing going on in that area. “why are you here? please just say it’s because you’re just super into being dark and mysterious and a little creepy and that there’s not something horrifically wrong right now.”
Malia had been having bad dreams lately ones where her friends got hurt, and there was nothing she could do about it. They had been causing her a daunting amount of stress, leaving her awake at almost all hours of the night. She would go from house to house, checking on her friends to make sure they were okay, even though she knew they were. As soon as she heard Stiles jolt up out of his bed, Malia sighed, flicking the lights on. “Relax, Stiles,” she told him, moving to stand at the food of his bed. “I’m not here to eat you.”
Stiles swallowed hard when he realized it was just Malia. A hand lifted to run through his hair. “Oh hey, great.” he said with his usual dryness that was amplified by how much she had scared him just then. When he got a hold on himself finally though he asked “are you alright?”
oh-my--lydia:
Lydia leaned against the doorway, looking at Stiles. She wasn’t sure what happened. She had been awake, just going for a walk around the block to try and make her tired when she wound up at Stiles’ house. The Sherrif came outside after she had been there for a few minutes, snapping her house of her daze. She went inside, going upstairs to see if Stiles had been the reason she was there. She practically ran, needing to see that he was okay. Her heart was in her throat until he spoke. Visibly relaxed, she gave him a small smile. “Just me,” she said softly. “Though I’m not sure a bat would fight most of the things we’ve faced.”
Stiles let out a breath when he realized it was just Lydia; his eyes falling closed as he composed himself. “Lydia what are you doing here?” He asked raking a hand down his face. His heart beat was returning to normal. He caught himself having come off as irritated in his now slight state of panic and added “Is everything okay?”
It was a few nights without much sleep straight now. Some nights were better than others but this was a string of bad. Stiles constantly had that feeling of paranoid anxiety lately and it was starting to take a toll but he was trying to keep it together. Maybe it didn’t look like it with the way he jolted up out of bed that night at whatever random thing decided to go bump in the night, but he was trying. He squinted into the darkness of his room hoping he was just being paranoid. “ Hey.” he paused moment, listening. “I have a bat and i’m not afraid to use it.” he offered up the information just in case.
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia: She seemed off in the way I was before we knew what I was.
Lydia: Not off all the way but just lost and confused.
Stiles: Do you want me to talk to her too? Do you think I should? Are you implying we should keep an eye on her?
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia: Kendall. It sounded like me at first. That's why I started asking her things.
Stiles: Did she seem off to you at all or was Theo the only new kid who did?
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia:I didn't ask. I didn't want to push. She said she couldn't remember things and then woke up in the woods.
Lydia:I gave her my number in case it happened again.
Stiles: That's insanely weird. What was her name?
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia:I was in the woods the other night and ran into a girl. I thought she was like me at first but then she said she was buried.
Stiles: Buried? ...What the hell is wrong with this place? Did she elaborate at all or?
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia: Did I ever say anything about being buried?
Stiles: What? No??? Why?
Scott couldn’t help, but chuckle. There was something nice about this kind of teasing. It felt, human. “You were never attracted to me. Shut up.” He nudged Stiles with his fist. Pushing his arm gently as his eyes drifted to the screen. Stiles was the only other guy he imagined would be cool with this sort of thing. The teasing, and the close proximity to one another. Most guys weren’t nearly as comfortable as they were around each other. “Not everyone. Just usually the people who want to kill me.. Which I’m starting to notice are mostly dudes.”
“Are you sure about that? Because I’m telling you. It was a strange five seconds” Stiles looked over at him, eyebrows raised as if he was imparting fact. Stiles felt super comfortable like this around Scott, always had. Anytime they slept over each others houses there was never that weird you can have the bed i’ll take the floor stuff. They just always auto defaulted to both sleeping in the bed. Stiles shook his head at Scott’s comment. “Yeah well, I just don’t think it’s fair that you have all the luck with the ladies and with the dudes. It’s just not right,” he joked.
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia: Thank you, Stiles. I owe you a big one.
Lydia: I actually have another thing for you. It's about that time you found me in the woods.
Stiles: You're welcome
Stiles: Yeah I remember. What about it?
Text || Lydia and Stiles
Lydia: I'm not doing anything but talking to Derek.
Stiles: Alright, just keep me updated I guess. I'll try and get in a conversation with Theo as much as I'm pretty sure I would rather do anything else.
“Consider it done.” They both needed a night just like this. Where it was back to the basics. How things used to be before their worlds took a turn for the weird. “Here I thought it was my attractive heroism.” Scott mused with a chuckle. Turning the television up a little more before tugging his pillow underneath his head. Leaving some space for Stiles to use it too if he’d like.
It was like they both just understood what was needed in that moment. Maybe it could never go back to the way it was but they sure could pretend it was for a minute right? Stiles gave a small laugh at Scott’s comment. He remembered that from forever ago. “That time I was attracted to you for like five seconds? Yeah that might be why.” he joked. Stiles moved to put his head on the pillow next to Scott as he focused his eyes one the t.v. for the moment. “I told you before dude, you’re the hot girl. Everyone want s you.”

Lydia: I'm meeting up with Derek. Something's defiantly off. I spent all night looking but couldn't find anything.
Stiles: Okay, Lydia wait. Please just let me talk to him first. I don't want you just running into this. I haven't even met him and I literally already hate this guy. But seriously, don't do anything yet.
He knew that if Stiles really wanted to talk out whatever it was that had him up so late, that he would mention it at some point. There was no need to push him. Not if it meant that he could just relax for awhile, and get away from it all. Scott was happy to be his distraction. What are best friends for?
Looking from Stiles to his television, he shook his head. “I didn’t realize you were so easy to please.” Scott teased as he began to search through his dvds. Most were borrowed from Stiles. Ones he had forced him to watch or needed to. Picking up Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, he popped it into the player, and hoped back onto his bed right beside his friend. “Are you sure you don’t need anything?”
“Seriously all I want is just one night of peace and quiet. No thinking about werewolves, no thinking about school, just you and me, this bed, and yes. Exactly that.” He said as return of the Jedi started playing. “I knew there was a reason I kept you around,” Stiles smirked a little as he glanced over at his best friend appreciatively.
[text] Theo's up to something.
Okay this is the second time I’ve heard this guys name. I already don’t like him. I told Lydia I would talk to him and see what kind of vibe I got from him.
