Here’s a god awful brain dump.. cause idk any other way to word it. Or write heh.

Ever since Jakob was young, he never demanded anything. He was quiet, the kind of kid who wasn’t complaining about chores when they were introduced and who prided himself on being manageable. He was always just—there.

He didn’t have many close friends because of this, feeling as though he was ‘too mature’ for his peers. He genuinely tried to stay in touch with the few he had without overstepping… though in this effort he positions himself as a sort of placeholder. He listens well, offering advice when he can but never really knows how to open himself up—after all, what could he say? His home life has always been great, and he found nothing to complain about.

His highs came from being on the honor roll—maybe the offhand comment from some adult asking his parents how they made him so obedient. It came naturally to him—he never really saw any reason to act out and didn’t understand why he wouldn’t listen.

Yet as he grew older and the praise dwindled, settling to a 'Oh, it’s Jakob; of course it is,’ he found that quiet feeling returning. If asked to describe it, he’d call it dull. It was suffocating, but he went through the motions because he was expected to. It never occurs to him to take time for himself; he doesn’t think it’s anything he should talk to anyone about.

There’s a reason I don’t do these this is shit from butt 🗣️🗣️‼️‼️

Lola Lombardi x Johnny Vincent - If its not obvious from a few of the roleplays I've had on this blog so far with the lovely @/lo-lombardi (literal angel, adore them so much), I'm a big sucker for these two. Evil bisexuals participating in the most unethical non-monogamy you've ever seen, but both of them will tell anyone who'll listen that "we love each other in a special way you'll never understand".

Larry "Peanut" Romano x Johnny Vincent - It's Jonut. What else can I say,, beloved Jonut. Classic "clique leader x second in command" dynamic, accompanied by massive amounts of yearning. Just typing this is making me miss my favourite Peanut roleplayer sigh.

Lucky De Luca x Johnny Vincent - I enjoy the silliness of them being "the clique leader" x "the actual, much more responsible and emotionally stable, clique leader", and I think Lucky would treat Johnny's previous relationship with Lola in a sensitive way that Johnny would appreciate.

Norton Williams x Johnny Vincent - Mainly enjoy them as a pair considering Norton is the greaser we see arguing with Lola at the start of Finding Johnny Vincent, along with the fact Norton's gossip lines mostly revolve around Johnny and his relationship with Lola. He's not a fan of Lola and sometimes I like to view that as being less to do with loyalty and more to do with feelings!

Bif Taylor x Johnny Vincent - JOHNBIF. If you know me, you know I adore "enemies to lovers", Johnbif is my guilty pleasure especially considering the pair are canonically enemies, as I find it so fascinating that Johnny has the most hatred geared towards the Preps second in command rather than their leader. Hating each other in public and being attracted to each other in private?? Sign me up.

Derby Harrington x Johnny Vincent - It's DirtMoney guys, what else can I say. Classic "rival clique leaders", with the added bonus of shame and feeling like they're betraying their boys for indulging in such a relationship. As I'm writing this I've already recieved another ask specifically revolving around Johnny's opinion on being "shipped" with preps, which I'll certainly sneak more of my own ooc opinion into because I do actually have quite a lot to say about Prep x Greaser ships.

Edgar Munsen x Johnny Vincent - Muncent. Back when I was too nervous to interact/post in the fandom, one of the few posts I mustered up the nerve to reblog was a Muncent post, and ever since I've been infatuated. I enjoy seeing Johnny being the one having to repent for his classism, and being educated on how hating the poorer isn't making the rich think any higher of him. Townie x Greaser ships are peak and I shan't listen to those who dare claim they aren't!

Mandy Wiles x Johnny Vincent - I think it would've been extremely interesting if they decided to keep the scrapped Jandy content canon and ingame, because having it explicitly implied and shown that Johnny is also actively cheating on Lola just adds so many more layers to that hefty onion. I think they're cute in a "this is the ideal outcome" because Mandy certainly deserves better than Ted, and whilst Johnny isn't all that better than Lola there's certainly healthier options.

Johnny's Opinion on Jimmy, Gary & Pete

(These opinions are more geared around the purposes of my roleplay blog and may or may not reflect canon relationships perfectly.)

Johnny Vincent's opinion on Jimmy Hopkins

Johnny considers Jimmy to be a close ally of the greasers, although unlike the other clique leaders he doesn't nor has he ever tried to suck up to him. He had no desire to involve him in the Making a Mark, and similarly doesn't get himself nor his boys involved in anything that shouldn't involve them. During most of the chaos during Chapter Five, Johnny was extremely deliberate to ensure his boys didn't harass Jimmy (up until Complete Mayhem, of course). I think the voicelines him and Jimmy share are pretty telling that his brief betrayal was due to Gary's manipulation being something Johnny was actually distraught by.

"What the hell are you doing, Johnny! Why're you taking orders from Gary?" "Shut up, Jimmy! You left us and everything went down the toilet!"

Post Complete Mayhem/Chapter Six, I like to think Johnny is pretty fond of Jimmy overall and treats him as a member of the greasers, he's always welcome around him and his boys. I've been asked in the past if Johnny finds it awkward having Jimmy around considering his prior relationships with Lola and Vance, below was my in character response which I still view as his outlook on the scenario. He's quite protective over him the same way he is with his official members.

Johnny Vincent's opinion on Gary Smith

Has never had any true respect for Gary, which is why I think Jimmy was so confused when Johnny began to follow his orders. I think this is well proven by the way Johnny tells Gary to shut up in Wrong Part of Town, the only reason he had him around was in order to further his vengeance against one of Lola's lovers. His priority during Chapter Three was always Lola, not serving Gary. I like to think Gary picked up on this fact and switched tactics in Chapter Five in order to have Johnny wrapped around his finger, even if only barely.

Overall, Post Complete Mayhem/Chapter Six, Johnny is entirely disavowed with Gary and has zero interest in him, probably out of his fierce loyalty to his friends, aka Jimmy. Although I certainly wouldn't mind exploring a plotline where Gary manages to befriend Johnny again..

Johnny Vincent's opinion on Pete Kowalski

Unlike the other clique leaders, Johnny doesn't attend any of the cutscenes where Pete is present, and if we're being entirely honest he probably isn't the most aware of his existence up until Pete becomes headboy after Final Showdown. I'd say Johnny would be decently polite to Pete, any friend of Jimmy is a friend of his, and he'd probably try to be somewhat respectable/agreeable to Pete's orders and demands (not that he'd be bold enough to try order around Johnny Vincent all that often.
