Sunday marks the final high school milestone 4 Parkland seniors will miss: graduation.
Nicholas Dworet, a swimmer with aspirations of Olympic gold and an infectious smile, was one of the seniors killed when a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February.
In his bedroom, an acceptance letter to the University of Indianapolis sits on a desk, along with a whiteboard with a note from his girlfriend and an uncompleted task list.
His swim goggles lay on top of a school paper he had written for class, next to a sheet of paper listing his swimming times.
Nick’s parents are now preparing for the graduation ceremony, where their son and the other seniors killed in the shooting, along with two others in the class who died before this year, will be memorialized.
“It’s easy to talk about the good memories with Nick,” Annika Dworet, his mother, said, “but it’s very difficult to talk about the things he’s not going to get to do.”

I miss you guys. I miss what Tumblr felt like three years ago when I was seventeen. I miss how easy things were and how much safety and comfort you all gave me. I don‘t know if this is growing up or just the waves of life but I haven‘t forgotten about you. Maybe things will get easier again one day. I love y‘all ❤️

Genuinely wondering, is anyone still active on here? I feel like Tumblr is barely alive these days, which is why I‘ve become unactive as well. Please let me know if you‘re still here, I really miss this place.
