This Knit Garden Glam Hooded Cowl Is Super Smart! 👉 https://buff.ly/4ifqVDG 💜
Adding this to my future knits list!
This has been a rough week. This is the best I've got for today.
Just finished the body of my sweater, I'm so excited to finish this up and be able to wear it!
My hubby is already asking about his, does anyone have any good pattern recs? I have some from tin can knits, but he's a hard working and hard clothes wearing man and I want the sweater durable enough for him.
The cruelty of racist white men.
Does anyone else remember when Elon was like "if anyone knows how to end world hunger for 6 billion USD, I'll fund it" and UNICEF was like "we're going to spend a month to make a plan to end world hunger for 6 billion USD and Elon is going to fund it" and Elon was like "actually, nah" and then bought Twitter instead?
I think that was one of the worst things I'll ever see in my life.
I still think that should be the thing for which he's the most famous. It should be brought up every time he's mentioned. In any news article, any interview, any history book. "Elon Musk, who was offered a chance to end world hunger and turned it down." Put it on his fucking gravestone.
I am knitting when I realize I have joined a long legacy of women who have laughed at their cat playing with the yarn.
cat: you need sharps? i have sharps! let me help :3
Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.
If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights."
We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.
And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
in light of Trump's inauguration speech declaring multiple national emergencies that require him to take god-knows-what executive actions immediately, I'd like to remember this chapter of "On Tyranny" by Timothy Snyder:
Jogless stripes in the round
I used to think that the jog at the beginning of a round is an unavoidable fact of life, but then (thanks to the internet) I started seeing different tricks to get jogless stripes when knitting in the round and carrying the yarn from one stripe to the next.
I tried a couple of different methods, before settling on the one shown in the video, which is the one I like best:
Knit to 1 st before end of round, make a yo with the new colour bringing it up from behind the working yarn. In the next round, knit the last stitch together with the yarn over.
How to knit jogless stripes in the round
Love how I'm reblogging like I'll actually look at my account when I'm working on another striped piece🤣😭
So I'm honestly curious. Was this an account that was stolen by the FBI and CIA in order to legitimize their plants or goverment AI? I'm leaning towards AI because a lot of your sentences are nonsensical.
I'm autistic and multilingual... hope that helps!
Also, what makes you think my account was stolen by the CIA??? Just because of how I speak?? How I talked about my new knowledge of politics because I was sheltered af and did not truly know what has been going on the last 2-3 years? Honestly I don't fully understand the questions you asked... are you just a republican that's mad that someone who was conservative leaning has come to find that the right leaning rhetoric is not only not correct, but is mostly propaganda?
“the arts and sciences are completely separate fields that should be pitted against each other” the overlap of the arts and sciences make up our entire perceivable reality they r fucking on the couch
Art vs STEM is a lie created to stop us from turning on the real enemy: business and economics
Arts vs STEM is a lie, the computer that put us on the moon was a loom of woven wires, our space suits were made by hand sewing, we need chemistry to mix paint and we need biology to raise the sheep who make the wool we spin into yarn and crochet or knit or weave and the world is beautiful
Reblogging as a science enthusiast and an artist
Here are the knits I made this last week!
