i really really loved how forward okarun was being in this latest chapter with momo. you can see the dynamic has flipped between them, but their key personality traits are still so prevalent. momo is still brash, and okarun is still awkward, BUT he is SO MUCH more confident in where he stands with her!!!

him having the guts (or the balls, heh) to tell her to her face “please go on a date with me,” and actively shutting down her teasing about aira—it was just so perfect!! i get the feeling that momo was gauging/scoping out the situation between him and aira, because it’s clear that aira has feelings for him, but HE wasn’t having it!!!

seeing the difference between okarun in beginning of the series and now is just such an AMAZING way to build a character!! he’s still fundamentally okarun, but he’s so different! his character is still authentic, but he’s grown so much! I’M SO PROUD OF HIM!!!
