PRIDE. -What is your muses biggest flaw?
One of Keikoās more noticeable and detrimental flaws is her violent nature. While it doesnāt come out very often in her adulthood, Keiko has always had a bit of a short temper and can grow very hot headed and stubborn. This can lead her to be a little harsher with her words, louder with her tone, and occasionally physically violent.Ā
The most common target of this is Yusuke since he knows exactly what buttons to push with her. She tries to control her violent nature when around her other friends, almost always avoiding becoming physically violent around others who arenāt Yusuke.Ā
This isnāt to say that itās okay that she treats Yusuke like that, though. Itās been a habit of hers, though, that stems back to when she and Yusuke were children. Yusuke has continued in his ways and so has she, but she tries harder not to become so violent over little things since she knows that even if sheās been doing it forever and he hasnāt said really much about it, itās not okay behavior.
LUST. -Who does your muse find attractive?
Of course, Keiko finds Yusuke very attractive; however, this actually stems from their childhood relationship together and growing up together. Itās never really been about Yusukeās looks. Had she and Yusuke met in middle school rather than as children, she might not have found him as attractive due to his bad habits (such as smoking, drinking, fighting, etc.) and his determination to look like a punk.
She does, though, prefer his hair loose rather than slicked back. The few exceptions is when heās wearing his cookās outfit at the ramen stand, but even then he has a headband to keep his hair back rather than slicking it back with product.
Besides Yusuke, Keiko has admitted to finding Kurama to be a very attractive man, both in appearance and personality.
FEAR. -What are your muses biggest fears?
Keiko isnāt afraid of your typical stuff. She doesnāt mind bugs, sheās fine with heights, and sheās even okay with enclosed spaces. Keikoās fears are on a different scale and tend to orient more toward concepts and ideas.
One of Keikoās fears is the future. While sheās done a lot to prepare for a brighter future (going to college to get her teaching degree, helping Yusuke around the ramen stand and hoping that he can upgrade to a full restaurant one day, etc), she fears what the future will ultimately bring in the end, especially now that Yusuke has awakened with demon blood. She knows, inevitably, that she will grow old and die, and he will remain young for several centuries to come. There are several smaller fears encompassed in this: a fear of losing the person she loves, the fear of causing Yusuke pain because of this inevitable fate, and the fear of losing Yusuke once he realizes this fate. While this fear is very real, she tries not to let it hold her back from living out a happy life with Yusuke during the time they do have together.
This above fear also translates into another fear she has, which is a fear of death. Now, while this fear includes fearing her own death, sheās more fearful of the deaths of those around her. After watching Yusuke die once, hearing about him dying a second time, and watching what had happened to him, Kuwabara, Kurama, and even Hiei during the Dark Tournament really shook her and made her realize how easily any one of her friends can die.Ā
[NOTE: I realize this does contradict how Keiko acted after Yusuke died the first time; however, when I think over it more, Yusuke was dead not even a full day or two when Keiko and Atsuko discovered he was actually alive. She mourned heavily when she thought he was dead, but was able to spring back up almost immediately with the hope that he was alive given to her by the fact that his heart was beating again. She likely would have reacted very differently, and coped very differently, had Yusuke not come back to life]
