“It’s all good, just making plans with a friend.” Well, sort of. Her eyebrows furrowed a little as she read his lips, grabbing her backpack off the floor and into her lap. Opening it up and finding her English folder, Jamie was a little surprised when she saw Kellen’s paper instead of her own. “Oh wow- good thing you caught that.” Laughing a little, she pulled it out of her folder and held it out for him, smiling as she mused softly, “Here ya go.”

“Oh, sounds totally like you aren’t hiding anything,” Kellen laughs teasing her a bit before taking his paper back from her and pulling her paper out to trade them. “Yeah I was gonna work on it but I realized it wasn’t mine as soon as I pulled it out.” He chuckled and held out her paper so she could take it.

“I picked up a few slices anyone want some?“ Ryan asked fellow students who were passing by before flipping the top of the box open and grabbing a slice for himself. 

“Dude, of fucking course I want some,” Kellen said quickly grabbing a pepperoni slice out of the pizza box, “You trynna fatten everyone up or what’s happening here?”

Luke was on his way back to his dorm when he felt something graze his feet looking down he realized it was a cat. ”Where did you come from?” He said out loud before picking up the cat carefully before looking around for the owner. “Hey, is he yours by any chance?”

Kellen trailed behind Luke, absentmindedly going for a walk after his last class. “He’s pretty adorable but he’s not mine, sorry,” He responded to the other boy, “Do you have any idea how he got here? Maybe he’s a stray”

“I know, I’m so excited, too!” Jamie grinned at her laptop screen, her hand resting on her cheek as she looked back at the person in the computer. “Tomorrow night’s going to be so much. I found this cute little place that I know you’re going to love and I promise that I won’t bring my camera.” Noticing a classmate, she quickly sat up straight and talked quietly, “Shit, I gotta go, a classmate’s here. I’ll text you later and see you tomorrow night. Bye.” Ending the video call and shutting her laptop, she smiled sheepishly. “Uh, hey, hi. Um… Do we have a project to work on or no?”

“Woah, didn’t mean to walk in on whatever that was, but uhh..” Kellen trailed off before flicking his eyes between Jamie and her laptop quickly and finding his trail of thoughts, “Sorry, um, we do have that project for English but I’m pretty sure you have my paper, because my name isn’t Jamie and I don’t have that good of handwriting.”
