someone once told me, “don’t be one of those people who say, ‘it’s because the Lord told me to’”

i don’t understand

every other kind of person i could be literally sucks

nothing makes sense or means anything without / besides the Gospel

something scarier than losing your rights and comforts is hardening your heart to His voice

took two sick days last week because i was trying to get my life back together

took a four hour nap this afternoon

do i win

you look as good as the day i met you

some mornings i find myself sleeping in the stains of yesterday you’re still the same you’re still the same

i’ve got to keep searching for those scraps of sky

there you are i’m trying to make sure that you still sway me

i guess i tend to well up when i’m not necessarily well off most of the time i just wish i was better that i could be better for you

sometimes i can’t be certain of how to give anything if i can’t seem to give everything
