Will always be mystified by how much people hated Tenet when it came out. Tenet, a film that bravely asks: “what if a movie was just vibes?” I challenge you to eat 1.5 peach ring edibles, watch Tenet, and tell me you don’t feel like you almost understood Tenet, it’s right at the tip of your tongue. An absolute Pinterest board of a movie. Tenet is a computer working incredibly hard and almost passing the Turing test. Tenet is Dall-E creating an exquisite renaissance painting but accidentally giving everyone seventeen fingers. If you squint from far away it looks masterful and if you look closely its flaws only make it more fascinating. Remember when they run up a building? Incredible film.
