this morning NASA abandoned their mars rover Opportunity (aka Oppy) because it (she) got hit by a storm on Mars and it knocked her camera and wheels out and her last words to the team were “my battery is low and it is getting cold”. I know she’s a machine but I’m devastated. Oppy is the one who discovered water on Mars. RIP oppy ily space baby

Romantic Fantasy Scenario: (Not likely) Shiro first started to get close to Curtis starting with Curtis comforting him in the immediate aftermath of the Lions crashing and the Paladins being injured, and the relationship slowly grew throughout the war and culminated in marriage and a happily-ever-after.

Real Life Scenario: (Probably happened) The cute lieutenant was Shiro’s finally-back-with-adults one night stand the night before the Paladins took the MFEs to call their Lions because he never expected Silver Fox to be his motherFUCKING boss, then he had to spend the length of the war awkwardly calling this guy who he’s seen naked ‘sir’ in public while occasionally banging it out with him in a utility closet in private.
