also i think i might be in love with someone i can’t (or at least definitely shouldn’t) have. are we surprised?

almost a year ago i got out of an abusive relationship that at times i literally didn’t think i would survive.

right before the end he was pulling me through his most desperate attempt to continue manipulating me. my favorite season is tainted with memories of his elaborate speeches and halloween themed dates.

i am so happy with where i am. i have more discernment in relationships. i learned to both set and respect boundaries. i do what makes me happy. but nights like these sneak up on me. or sometimes i’m slapped with a feeling walking through the door at target. or when i’m putting on a sweater. a year later im often terrified to go in public. i don’t know how i would handle seeing him. i’ve still got work to do.

i fucking hate it and i fucking hate him.

I had a dream I was in a car with my ex. He was driving. Then he pulled over and got out of the car. As he was getting out I pointed out that his car was not in park. He gave me the hand telling me to shut up. The car then crashed into a fence with me in it. He then blamed me for crashing the car.
