Small update with personal stuffs.

We’re in the process of moving. It’s stressful to say the least. Especially for our rattie girls. They’re quite sensitive to our moving, packing, and our emotions.

Everything else has been going okay, and I’m hoping as soon as we have everything over at the new place that we can quickly unpack.

I wish we were able to move last month though. It’s hard to plan around events in December.

God, I can't tell you how much the "there's not enough enrichment in my enclosure" joke has helped my mental health. Because, for some reason I can't comprehend, pretending that I'm a zoo keeper caring for an animal (which is also me) just makes everything easier to comprehend. Like "Your head gets screwey when you're apartment is messy" just doesn't carry as much resonance as "The tiger becomes agitated when its enclosure is cluttered" because then I'll be like, no shit? The tiger? I've gotta keep things nice and clean for the tiger.

Baking and prepping like crazzzy. I still celebrate Thanksgiving, not for the history, but for the food, friends and family. This year we’re celebrating with a couple of friends. I’m excited to make food for all of us tomorrow.

Since Germany doesn’t have the same convenience products like stores in the US does, I make everything from scratch.

I’ll be making fish as our main tomorrow! I’m excited to dig in.
