I got my first Ipsy bag in the mail today! Iāve been stalking the tracking like itās my job and itās finally here!
The theme this month is fresh picks. I actually think this bag is kind of cute. But itās whatās in the bag that really matters. (Of course I peeked at my glam room before it came, I canāt help myself.)
The first thing in my bag is Hang Ten classic sport sunscreen. It has SPF 50 and is 1 oz. The ingredients have a bunch of good stuff in it (Iām not going to list it all.) It doesnāt have the typical sunscreen smell. It smells like shea butter, which is one of the ingredients. This will be handy when we go to Florida this summer. :)
This is what I saw in the bag next. Balanced Guru no frizz oil. This contains .5 oz. Once again a product with a bunch of good good in it.
I think the little dropper is kind of cool. Then you can really control how much product you get. Which you probably only want a tiny amount since itās an oil. I donāt really like the smell. It has a very eucalyptus-ey scent to it. But maybe once itās in your hair the scent wonāt be so strong. Guess we will see.
Next up is this Pacifica eyeshadow. I got duo 2. Everyone got this in their bag. There was another color too which I kind of wanted more, but itās ok.
It feels kind of dry and chalky. Not smooth and creamy-like, like some of the other eyeshadows I have. The colors are ok. The cream shade has some shimmer in it and the purple shade has slight little specs of shimmer, but hardly noticeable.
Swatches. Not the best color pay off but maybe it will be different on the eyelid.
This is the Avene Thermal Spring Water. 1.76 ounces. This is basically water. Literally. The ingredients are water and nitrogen. Thatās it. What could be so great about that? Well I looked at some reviews online and this might as well be holy water sent from rainbow unicorns in heaven. People claim this stuff has basically saved their lives. (Not really, just their skin.) This product basically
claims to do every good thing possible to your skin. Apparently doctors even recommend this to their patients. I sprayed it on my face and it literally just feels like water. Because thatās what it is. Yes, Iām skeptical if you canāt tell. We shall seeā¦.
Boo Boo Cover-Up concealer. There isnāt a whole lot of info on the packaging. No crazy claims or anything. But itās a concealer so we pretty much know what it does. Conceals. This is a .34 oz size.
Blended out. This gives pretty decent coverage. Iām not sure if it will match me though. It seems a little orange on my hand. But this is one product Iām pretty excited about trying.
Overall Iām pretty happy with this bag. I mean it would have been better if I got the Too Faced bronzer, but thatās alright. Iām excited to keep using this stuff and see how it works out for me. Iām most interested about this glorified waterā¦.
