The "Nuclear Nitrogen" isn't dramatically different from the regular OS Nitrogen ink. The main difference I see is that the purple sheen appears more even when you're looking at it head-on.

FWIW, it writes really nice with a glass dip pen! The fact that it's sticky seems to help.

Ordered a sort of Halloween palette of fountain pen ink. Not entirely on purpose, but I'm delighted with the result.

Birmingham inks are really excellent, BTW. Highly recommended!

I'm working from my couch today. I think someone wants to cuddle.

One of my absolute favorite inks. Intense and strangely difficult to pin down with regard to hue, and a bright, metallic gold sheen to top it off.

This color is part of Sailor's "Ink Studio" series, where each ink is given a number instead of a name. That said, I think of this one as "Disco Era Pink".

The paper used here is Cosmo Air Snow.

The final transfer wasn't as clean as I'd hoped (is it ever?), but I'm really happy with this. One of my favorite personal attempts at art.

My guitar pedal board is a bit... complicated. I'm mounting multiple boards in the drawers of an old steel "tanker" desk. There are separate "top" and "bottom" boards, one per drawer.

So here's the thing: I put the last pedal on the board last night. The "top" board looks good. It powers up, no problem.

But now the bottom board isn't powering up. Seems I pulled a plug. I know which one it is, but at this point the board has limited range of motion without undoing a ton of stuff (knew this was a risk going in, no regrets).

So now I go fishing, trying to find & re-connect the loose cord. Since I can't really see anything, I have to go by finger-feelies. Pic shows the chaos viewed from the underside of the board.

This should be fun.

I'll post proper pics in a day or two once I get this fixed.
