Was inspired by the wonderful post by @hailed-marys so me and @sam-i-am-27 got possessed by the demons and came out with this.

* Astrophage is more like a virus that either alters people, causing them to commit crimes or violent acts, or a power that supervillains are starting to use.

* Grace is still a middle school teacher who got bitten by the spider, obviously.

* Adrian is the one who stitched up the suit (the Aunt May of this universe).

* He has all the perks of a normal Spider-Man, but he's still Grace, so he's incredibly clumsy. He does have a super-strong spider sense, and that's what saves him 100% of the time, but he absolutely does not have the agility. When adrenaline kicks in, he can do anything, but otherwise he'll trip over the most ridiculous things.

* He was wearing his yellow raincoat the first time he saved someone, so now he wears it over his suit (along with his white Converse).

* The spider was discovered by SHIELD (which is undercover as a scientific research facility that Grace works for part-time). After the original test subjects (who were only able to survive the spider mutations if they possessed a specific gene) were killed in an attack, Eva delivered the spider to Grace so he could be bitten before other villains got their hands on that power. (My boy gets unwillingly turned into a savior in every universe.)

* Simon is still an ex-convict who, in exchange for his freedom, is asked by the evil company of the day to test a series of mines infected by what appears to be blood from a meteorite (which eventually turns out to be the symbiote Ellie!).

* At first, they wanted to kill each other, but they end up becoming besties.

This goose fucking rocks and had a crazy life!

I really just have to summarize Thomas's entire life:

He was in a committed relationship with a male swan named Henry for 18-24 years before a female swan named Henrietta showed up and mated with Henry.

Thomas was initially jealous of the pair and attacked them, breaking 2 of the 5 eggs Henrietta had laid. However, once the remaining eggs hatched, Thomas warmed up to them and helped raise them.

Henry couldn't fly because of an injured wing, so Thomas taught the cygnets how to fly.

When they needed to reduce the goose population in the pond where Thomas and the swans lived, they dyed Thomas's feathers red so he wouldn't be separated from Henry.

Henry, Henrietta, and Thomas remained in their happy throuple for years and raised 68 cygnets before Henry died in 2009. After Henry's death, Henrietta found another swan and flew away, leaving Thomas alone.

Thomas finally met and mated with a female goose in 2011 and had his own babies. However, another goose named George stole them and raised them himself.

As Thomas grew elderly and blind, he was relocated to a wildlife center where he raised orphaned cygnets.

His caretaker at the center described him as "pretty high maintenance."

Thomas died in 2018 at the age of around 40. He had a funeral that included a small coffin and a procession that was led by a bagpiper. He was buried under the stone where Henry was buried, the two finally reunited in death.

Before and after his death, Thomas has been celebrated as an icon of the LGBTQ+ community for obvious reasons.

Burn the Witch (Brimhat Olruggio AU)

was casually enjoying this series then Part 2 Ch 2 hit me like an unkissed brick and I found myself unable to stop drawing for it for the last couple days. I made a handful of concept work, and 2 fancy drawings below :) Thank you @grimmseye for making it a fun few days for me, I hope you enjoy these too ///sliiides tagging it for spoilers, but just in case any anime-onlys run into this, you'd need to have read up to Chapter 92 of the manga--scroll scroll fast and away if this somehow falls through

can you tell i had a lot of fun doing textures. textures are dope I need to do more of that Some concept art and extras under the cut:

my first drawing needed to get olly's design down. I tried using the same textures as the smoky casting qifrey from chapter 1 of the manga

thinking about it, wha actually lands in the ballpark of my daily style (just with a lot more hatching and deliberation). It was comfortable to learn in a way that is old and familiar, so it was quite refreshing to stretch my drawings in this direction once again.

When I say I have been chewing and gnawing on these pieces for several days. I have been absolutely spoiled!!

The DETAILS. The amber and smoke hanging off of Olly's brim, these moments of Qifrey and Olruggio protecting each other in direct contrast, the oppression of Olruggio hiding in the shadows, the rage in Qifrey's face, the use of negatives, the motion of the spell!!! If I were to lay on every single detail that I adore here, I would probably break this post.
