Mistakes, I've made a few. But loving you was never one of those. Stay safe. Stay strong. Love yourself first, don't let anyone bring you down.

In time the wounds you’ve caused will heal. But right now I can’t help but cry over you. I loved you until the very end, and I hoped that you would at least call, but you didn’t want me as a friend, despite your protestations, and I’m not sure what hurts more, losing you as a partner in life and love or losing you as a friend.

I thought I was over you, I really did, but seeing your face was like a knife to my heart, stomach, lungs, mind, and now I’m living an empty life.

Today I cried a thousand tears.

And when you ask if I'm okay,

Or tell me you are giving me space.

I want you to know I love you still.

Through all the tears and pain,

I want you to love yourself,

Forgive yourself,

And most importantly,

Love again
