DAY FOUR of crafting our way through ‪#‎Kwanzaa‬! On the fourth day of Kwanzaa, we meditate on the concept of ‪#‎Ujamaa‬ (Cooperative Economics). To reinforce it, we created a game using stuff we had around the house, including used Doc McStuffins wrapping paper from Christmas (yes, I saved a few pieces for reuse, don’t judge me). Ujamaa centers on keeping our money and talents in our community and using them to uplift and reinvest in ourselves. In the game we created, the goal is to toss the money into the can, where it can be easily recovered and used again.
