It was a brighter night out, Bob and Reed were walking while having subtle chatter. Reed seemed ecstatic, as they walked and avoided getting hit by branches they soon arrived. A shimmering pond was there, large with a peaceful aroma. They stopped at a nearby tree, getting a good look at the pond. It was beautiful and well taken care of. It's the soc side, where the grass was always green and the streets were always cleans, it's only natural it was well taken care of.

"Soo, this is what you do in your freetime? Watch the west pond at night.. thats not scary at all man"

Despite what bob said he was smiling. It was actully really pretty out tonight

"Man randy does the same thing.."

(( like litterally its 2 in the morning shut up yo😭😭))

"It's just pretty to see, and gets me out of the house so I don't have to deal with my parents!"

He said, humming a bit, before turning to look at Bob before smiling

"Speaking of Randy... Are you and him... Are you two dating?"

He asked, though it wasn't really a question, it was more of acknowledging it

"Well i mean, yes.. um yea we are..and its nothing too serious like how kevin and Jake are. Fbut we are yeah.."

Bob sighs looking away from randy and quickly changes the subject.

"Anyway.. how's your old man doing?"

"Yeah? Thats nice, mm, always thought something was up about you too. Hm, haven't heard much about Jake, is he any cool?"

Reed asked, before groaning quietly at the question, him and his old man were tense, per usual

"Ugh, he's been... Something? He keeps getting on my tail, never leaves me alone, can't stand even being home with him anymore. What about you? How's uh, your relationship with your parents going?"

Bob says, rolling his eyes at the thought of greasers. He looks back over at reed

He replied, lying to Bob, he liked the greasers, he was dating one, but that didn't need to be known

"I'm glad, my old man hates my guts. Glad things seem to be going well other than greasers invading. Anyways what place you wanna go get food after this? Wanna stop at a shop or see if there are any open places?"

"Uhh wanna go to the diner? Its getting late and the diner is open 24 hours soo it should be open"

Bob checks the time off his phone

"Yeah, only the diner and bar is open right now"

"That works, mhm, should mess around a bit then go. Maybe climb a tree and see who can toss rocks in the furthest."

Reed glances at Bob's phone, just looking to look.

"Well that's good, hopefully they actually have good food and not lame shit."

"Ive been to it before, they got alcohol there we just need id somehow.."

"Don't worry! I got a fake Id! It'll be like our pre drinks!, Uh, you got a good couple missed calls from someone... Gon answer those?"

He tilted his head, but didn't push it too much

"Where'd you get a fake id i cant seem to fine anyone who makes realistic ones"

Bob quickly shuts off his phone putting it back in his pocket

"Its just spam calls.."

"One them Greasers! Two bit sells some realistic ones, he a little sketchy but whatever!"

He checked out his phone real quick, huh, he wished he had any calls, didn't even get spam calls anymore.

"Oh alright! You uh, wanna see who can toss the rocks furthest?"

"There's no way im talking to that Disney mom.. but sure, i kinda suck at tossing rocks but sure I guess!"

They tossed rocks like idiots for a bit and Reed climbed a tree. They messed around for a bit before heading to the diner, despite it being late it was still active, a good bit of people there.

"Wish it would've been a bit emptier ey?"

"Yeah but its friday whatdya excpect"

Bob and reed went to sit down at an empty booth. Bob pulled out his phone again glancing at the time.

Reed held back taking another look at Bob's phone, deciding just to check his instead. It was empty, dry, no messages or notifications. He shoved it back in his bag and coughed to clear his throat.

"So, what you gonna get?"

He asked, forcing a smile, hoping he wasn't making this awkward

"Uhh probally just a side salad"

Bob sets down his phone again glancing at reeds phone quickly before looking away

"What about you, to be honest i think ill pay for us both cause I have a fuckton of money I wanna spend.."

"Just a side salad? You should probably get something more filling you know?"

He said, placing his hand on top of Bob's and tilted his head, his eyes staring into his soul before pulling away to think.

"Uhhh... I'm not sure what they have, I haven't been here much. Maybe just a thing of fries and onion rings."

Bob breaks eye contact and moves his hands in his lap.

"But uh, randy usally gets the burgers. They got really good frys so I've heard"
