Just found your comic and I’m adoring all the content. You’re got yourself another fan for sure!
Can I ask, you said one of them had issues with tight spaces. I know the Depths is rather open save for a few areas that aren’t that tight fit. But I do wonder if being underground in pitch black might cause a lot of triggers. (Also with them finding articles of their own clothing deep underground. Some speculate that the place used to be filled with water, ie Wind’s timeline)
Side note also, I’m hoping we get to see some silly moments. Of them finding out Wild, while a sophisticated knight, also got his name sake for a reason. Or some of the younger ones taking bad habits of the older ones, much to their dismay. I could see a few of them looking up to the older Link’s as role models, even if they don’t admit it.
Anywho, sorry for yapping. I adore your comic and can’t wait to see more!
Oh thank you! I always get excited when someone likes my stuff.
But now that you mention it, absolutely, Sky is FAR from being happy about the dephts. Is really unsettling for him actually. He lived most of his life thinking “there is nothing under the clouds” then had to accept “okay there is a whole world under the sky” and yes, he is aware of caves and things like that but seeing the dephts… A whole other world UNDER the surface? It makes him wonder what is the end? there’s an end?
He has no problem with jumping off a sky island to the ground, he knows what to expect but seeing one of the chasms for the first time was frankly quite terrifying.
But honestly, nobody is happy about the depths—besides shadow of course—the place is dangerous, scary, dark and full of gloom and beasts.
I do have some ideas for the items you can get down there, i’m exiting to draw them.
And about the silly moments, I like to use the side comic/independent chapters and just random posts to explore more about those things. I love just drawing silly interactions without actually developing the lore that much but- I need to find the balance haha. Additionally, if you let me yap about it just a little bit, the younger ones do have a… I like to call it father son relationship, or something like that.
Minish – Time, Four – Wars, Wind – Wild and… Uh, I guess this one counts???
(Time specifically, apparently he has a soft spot for the younglings, and the idea of “I want kids” starts to grow in his head)
