I don’t understand why as soon as it’s metioned Dylan is autistic some people’s first response is ‘well he isn’t, its just his OCD’. I have OCD and I do agree some of Dylan’s behaviour’s could well be that but Dylan does have autistic traits too, and saying it’s all ‘just his OCD’ has always annoyed me a little.

And I think people forget that Dylan’s character wasn’t always written to have OCD, it was never originally part of his backstory or his character when he joined (unlike his alcoholism), it was a storyline they came up with years after he first appeared..

As much as I love Dylan's character, I've got to say that him outing Lev was an invasion of Lev's privacy. I understand why some people are like "feel sorry for Dylan" or whatever, and I kinda understand why he told her that Lev had cheated on her because she trusts Dylan to be honest, but it wasn't his place to say a word especially with him having feelings towards Faith. I think Faith's reaction and mention of Dylan's crush was somewhat bound to be mentioned.

So I only got back into Casualty in August after about an 18 month break. My favourite character has always been and always will be Mr Dylan Keogh (obvs) and now that we’ve seen him in a relationship with Ciara, i’ve fallen even more in love with him. 

Anyway i’ve been posting my Dylan love in the Casualty tag and so so many lovely people have been reblogging, liking and responding to my posts. They’ve been so kind and really made me feel welcome in the Casualty fandom particularly @xxjacnaylor @bexieid @me-myself-and-i-oh-hi @keoghsquiff and @barefootinthedessert (there are more but I can’t tag everyone but know i’m appreciative) 

Anyway long story short this is me just saying thank you, I appreciate all of it. It really does make my day knowing I can geek out over Dylan and you’ll all be there beside me haha .
