Good day Velutarians. While we are unable to propose any lasting diplomatic relations such as embassy status due to ongoing events; the regency greets you nonetheless on behalf of Crown Princess Toriku.

How odd. It seems our video feed was offline.
Our mighty nation was founded by the Keporo! We are a proud race with an admittedly short stature. Attached to this transmission are some approved recordings of our citizenry going about their business.
Enemy communications indicating their intent to cause a massive insurrection were intercepted recently. In response, numerous armies were stationed in areas frequented by separatist insurgents and areas suspected to be at risk. This morning the separatists made their move and attempted to storm the royal palace on our capital along with the Colonial Viceroy's estates on each planet.
The rebels were ill-prepared for the trap we had set and were promptly routed. The incident was followed up by our brave soldiers enacting massive raids on separatist outposts and the properties of suspected separatist sympathizers all throughout our space. Our forces were supplemented by paramilitary groups that formed to defend themselves from the rebel menace who have since been rewarded for their aid. For too long have RedFeather and KLF terrorists shielded themselves by disguising themselves as everyday citizens to enact their nefarious plots on our populace. Regent Vulmno has announced a massive campaign to enact justice upon the separatists who were captured, and trials are already underway on Keplo. They who sought to harm both our citizenry and the state shall see justice at last! Hundreds of thousands of high-ranking bureaucrats, commanders, and aristocrats with ties to the KLF and RedFeather have already been detained and are awaiting trial.
Their treachery seeped deeper into our society than previously envisioned, but we shall suffer their malice no longer! From henceforth the Keporo Systems shall be known as the Keporo Princessdom, in service of the Astral Empire! We will rid ourselves of the parasites who undermine us and our overlord once and for all!

The Ga-Mo-Si festival has begun! Historically a weeklong holiday celebrated within the defunct Vul-Gi Hierarchy and Rimdov Sect back on our homeworld, the Followers of Vul-Gi brought the celebration with them when they arrived on Tra-Uln. Originally based on the myth of the hero Ga-Ce who is said to have slain many daemonic entities, it has since become a national holiday. Residents often exchange gifts and meals whilst the workday is relaxed to encompass less hours for non-critical professions.
Additionally, gifts have been arranged for our Suzerain the Astral Empire ( @goganworlds) as well as our fellow dominions under their rule which are en route to their respective territories.
Extensive urbanization has taken place these past few months as more migrant Un-Araks flock to our cause. New cities have sprouted where there was once wilderness and the harshness of Tra-Uln has been well tempered. Though our numbers may not compare to that of our homeworld which was lost to foolish self-serving armageddon, we have taken dominion over our new home and spread out to each corner. With the migrants arriving ready to contribute alongside the aid of the Astral Empire the colony is officially self-sustaining! Homelessness, blackouts, and raids from local wildlife have become things of the past
Governor-In-Chief Va-Di has approved of a large-scale construction project to improve the Thi-Hom Starbase so that it may better serve our needs as well as the needs of our suzerain. The makeshift shipyards have served us well but lack the amenities provided by those of other interstellar states have hampered our capability to field additional starships. Fortunately it was of little concern until now as our focus largely lay on our capital world Tra-Uln.
|ALERT LEVEL: BLUE|
Due to recent events both locally and throughout the galaxy at large, Regent Vulmno has seen fit to elevate the alert status of the Systems to blue. All vessels and stations are required to have an identification transponder active at all times. Foreign vessels may not dock with any station or planetary outpost within the Keporo Systems without prior approval from either the local colonial viceroy, sector governor, or the grand palace itself. Vessels from the Astral Empire and fellow states under its dominion are exempt from these restrictions.
Additionally, access to the Yrmri System is now denied to all non-military vessels.
The standoff of the fleet outside of Vul-Caithesis Orbital 5, as mentioned in previous transmissions ended in an unfortunate manner today as the inhabitants of the station opted to activate a self-destruct device rather than surrender. Attempts to sift through the wreckage have found no indication of any survivors, and it is believed that Baron Tauii who boarded the station in an unauthorized manner with his soldiers perished in the explosion. While the fleet is relieved that the problem took care of itself, the loss of the Baron will surely prove to be a great blow to noble House Aruk.
A Formal Greeting
Fellow Sentients of the Galaxy. I am President Ra'daan of the Federal Systems of Hamilonia. I would like to explain a few things about our nation as it is now clear to us that our asking for aid may not be greeted with the support that we wished to have seen. Our nation is, first and foremost, a Republic. It is also expanding in both industrial capacity and size. A great deal of habitable planets are near our borders and we are expanding every day to get them into our country. Many of our own Hamilonians are, on their own and without approval, expanding out into the wilds there. There are a few major internal issues, one of which was whether we should contact other advanced alien species, which has clearly been seen as a success. If you wish to know more about the internal issues, do say, as we can always translate the National Gazette into this common tongue that is used in interstellar communications. We, like all others, wish to ensure the safety and prosperity of our future generations and thus greet all those who will see this with friendship and trade. Thank you for your time.

It is a deep shame that you have opted to structure yourselves as republican rabble, though perhaps some value may be gleaned from your civilization in time.
Chaos unfolded in the space surrounding the penal colony of Vurmnu (formerly known as Yrmri II) today as a cargo freighter deviated from its assigned flight path for unknown reasons and collided with a previously unknown spaceborne structure. The aforementioned structure went undetected until now as it appeared to operate under a cloaking field that only failed upon the collision. It was later determined to be a space station, though its purpose currently eludes us. The cargo freighter, fortunately, suffered no injuries to its crew despite the damage and successfully made an emergency landing on Vurmnu's surface.
Numerous vessels were dispatched to explore the station though the investigation was cut short as the space station which was believed to be derelict was arbitrarily repowered and activated numerous automated defense systems that target any vessel which do not emit accepted signal codes. After probing the signals the station emitted and inquiring into our own databanks about the strange keporo who inhabited Vurmnu before our own client holdings did, the station was identified as the "Vul-Caithesis Orbital 5," a station that belonged to the long-defunct Vul-Caithesis Corporation.
To escalate matters further, Baron Tauii of House Aruk who owns a salvaged Vul-Caithesis vessel (refitted into a pleasure yacht) has declared his intent to dislodge the obstacle from Vurmnu's orbit and promptly gathered a retinue of his own soldiers to join him onboard his yacht to lay siege to the hostile space station. The Baron proceeded with this plan despite warnings both from the planetary administration and the governing Regency to desist. The Baron's vessel remarkably was not fired upon by the station though contact was lost shortly after it finished docking.
The space surrounding the hostile station has been quarantined and discussions are currently being held among both the Regency and aristocracy about how to handle the situation, though the fleet has also put forth a proposal that largely revolved around "blasting the offending party out of orbit, preferably without retrieving the Baron first."
In unrelated news, Grand Mayor Vurau of Vurmnu has reportedly requisitioned a bulk order of chemicals intended for stress relief for their personal use which has sparked rumors of either his declining health or potential links to the underground trade of narcotics.
A communications blackout occurred following a combination of factors such as the recent change in encryption regarding our relays and unprecedented strain on the aforementioned relays.
During this time numerous bad actors were able to assume control of the communications relay and broadcast a hoax regarding the status of the ongoing relay maintenance.
The incident has been resolved and the perpetrators apprehended. Galactic communications and diplomatic channels should be restored shortly.
