Haven’t drawn Mchanzo in a long while, but I’ve been on a kick since picking back up on reading some Mchanzo fics. 

Was inspired to try something different and enjoyed how this turned out. Couldn’t decide which I liked more, so enjoy! I’ll be selling these as prints when I get a proper store up and running!

You know what would be great if we’re getting more Shimada fam lore? If we got to see - whoever family members Jeff has recently alluded to - if we got to see them confront Hanzo as he is in current lore. Casual. 

It’s been confirmed that OW 2 is taking place a year after Recall. We have no idea what Hanzo has done between Dragons, going Casual, and we haven’t gotten a clue as to how his reconciliation with Genji has gone, but I want to entertain this current idea-

Shimada assassins have been on Hanzo’s tail for 10 years.. So what happens when they see him as Casual for the first time. To think that their once heir could fall even lower? It doesn’t surprise them. They rub it in; try and get under his skin. 

No longer. Hanzo has lived under their shackles for far too long. He kills them; as he has always done, but now head held high. He walks his own path now. This is where he starts living. He acknowledges that the Shimadas are no longer his family and that the only one really left is Genji
