Seeing her son in her husbandâs hand was a sigh sheâs been waiting to see for three years. She couldnât believe that he was finally here interacting with their son. This seemed to be the fifth time that she has forgotten he fallen in the dumpster. He must have not been there long because in big spaces she couldnât smell it. She chuckled and reached for her son, she smelt his close and she could smell a little bit of the dumpster. âOoh, too lateâ She joked not caring too much because it was worth it. âYou go shower, weâll say goodbye to Naomi and then take a bath wash up a bit before dinner.â She smiled gently as he kissed her cheek, she looked at him and wanted to kiss him for a long time. For all the time that theyâve missed, though his smell was starting to really get to her. She followed her husband into the house and put her son down as she paid the babysitter. âThanks, Naomi,â She spoke as the woman walked out the door. âCâmon Logan,â she called and he ran for the stairs as they went straight to the second bathroom that had the bath. They filled it halfway before Logan was about to run and jump, she caught her son before he got the chance. âWhoa, whoa, daredevil.â She spoke as her son began to giggle. She got him into the tub and began to wash him up, she knew that his bath would take longer than Charlieâs shower, though sheâd assumed theyâd meet downstairs, though it wasnât until her son pointed at the door. She smiled at the sight of her husband clearly nice and clean, with his hair still wet. He looked very desirable in this moment, sheâd always loved how his hair slick back with it was wet. âHey, wanna help out?â She smiled.Â
Charlie went straight for the stairs, going up to their room. He never thought heâd want to get in the shower the way he wanted to do right now. He stopped for a second in the bedroom, looking around. Nothing changed, Kerrie was right. While he was happy to see that, at least to try to feel at home after three years of being gone, which wasnât exactly easy because the place already felt at home and he still felt like he left a few hours ago and had just returned, this didnât sit well with him. It had been three years since he died, and that was plenty of time for Kerrie to move on and get on with her life. Try to be with someone else, shit like that. He wanted that for her, to be happy, even if he couldnât provide that happiness anymore. Theyâd have to talk about this at some point, she wouldnât get away with it. He walked over to his closet and and pulled a pair of clean boxers and a pair of black shorts, and walked into the bathroom. After he took his clothes off, he caught a glimpse of his face on the mirror, and what he saw, he didnât like. He approached the mirror and took a better look at his eyes, noticing his pupils were dilated like hell. He tried not to worry too much about it, maybe in the morning it would go away. He stepped into the shower and let the water run down his body, washing himself up good. Once he was done, he put on his underwear and shorts and walked out of the bathroom. It was no news that often times Charlie walked around the house without a shirt on. He felt more comfortable that way. When he heard noises from the other bathroom, instead of going downstairs to wait for Kerrie and Logan, he went to them. God knew what the next days had in store for them, he would never a miss a moment to be around the two. Leaning against the door frame, Charlie watched with his arms crossed in front of his chest as Kerrie washed Logan up âI canât believe my son just gave me up.â Charlie chuckled when Logan spotted him and pointed at him âI have a better idea.â he pushed himself away from the door and walked next to Kerrie, running a hand through his wet hair âAquaman here seems like heâs enjoying his rule over the water kingdom too much. I say we go in and attack.â he spoke in a monster like voice as he quickly jumped into the bath next to Logan, looking like he was ready to attack, but all he did was to grab the small guy by his hips and lift him up for a second before putting him back down, hearing him laugh âLetâs convince mommy to join us, yeah?â he grabbed Loganâs small hand and splashed some water at Kerrie.Â
