Third Year Project - Annual Report - Graze
Brief: You are to assume that you have been commissioned to design next year’s annual report for the organisation of your choice.
Solution: I chose to use the company Graze and decided to package the annual report inside one of the original Graze boxes so that it could be sent out by post as the boxes already are. I used a variety of textures of paper to give the report a more natural feel and to portray the idea of choice and difference which is what the Graze company is all about. Also, I used an illustration style which consisted of mixing photography with line drawing illustrations. The report has been hand stitch bound to keep within the natural/organic feel.

Third Year Project - YCN - Package the Perfect Picnic for Marks & Spencer
The theme I chose for my design was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and was aimed towards a typical family of four. I illustrated the foods in my picnic box in a 1950's style because I wanted the design to reflect the time period of when the Queen was first coronated. My designs were screen printed onto the paper mat which folds out to become a picnic blanket and also forms the main structure of the box. Two lids then fit on the top and bottom to hold the contents together. To reduce the amounts of waste packaging produced from this product, I decided to contain my foods within 3 trays; one for savoury, one for sweet and one for drinks. The idea was that the film lids would peel off of the trays, so that all of the food in each tray is contained within one single piece of packaging.
