The more things change...
... the more they stay the same. Or, at least, thatâs what Quark said at the end of Deep Space Nine.
I think itâs a pretty accurate statement, though. Life has changed so much since I first started this Tumblr - but my inability to keep it updated, and my indecision about whether to use Tumblr or some other platform remains strong.
Is Tumblr a good place to blog? Why havenât I ever found somewhere as good at LiveJournal used to be?
bonus!
Excuse me while I redesign my entire life.

Yep, still one of my favourite systems.

Iâm Back
Hello. Itâs been a long time since I last used my Tumblr. Iâve been a bit afraid of it, to be honest. But Iâm here to give it another try. Hello. I love you.

Dirty Twelve Round 9
Here is your new scenario:
The TARDIS materialises in a long line of portaloos (portapotties) at a music festivalâŠ

"What's going on out there?" says Twelve. "It sounds like a cat strangling another cat."
"I've always wanted to go to a festival like this!" said Clara, throwing open the doors and running out into the crowd.
---
Three hours later, Twelve is still sat in the console room.
âLike Iâm going to go out there to find her!â he says angrily to no-one. âItâs just going to be drunken humans jumping up and down and eating burgers and drinking stuff that kills their already stunted brain cells.â
At that moment, Clara stumbles through the door, more than a little drunk.
âDoctoooooooooor!â she yells.
âAre you hurt?â a concerned Twelve asks, as she stumbles around the console. âDid someone do this to you? Are you... wait... youâre... youâre drunk, arenât you?â
âJusssssst a little bitâ Clara steams. âBut I saw some great bands! And I... waah.. aaaaa...â flailing around, and unable to stand up, Clara starts to fall over again.
âShh, Iâve got youâ says Twelve, as he catches her. They both pause, looking into each otherâs eyes.
âI... I... never realised how... your eyes...â Clara stutters, taken aback by her newfound attraction towards her travel companion.
âClara, youâre drunk, itâs not... letâs get you to bed.â
---
The next morning, Clara awoke to the smell of festival food. Staggering to the console room, the finds Twelve there holding two bacon rolls.
âI understand that these are the perfect cure for a night like yours!â he says. âiI got you two. Iâd rather eat the lining of my shoes than something from one of these food trucks.â
Smiling, Clara takes a roll and grabs a cup of tea that Twelve has made her.
âThose things you said last nightâ Twelve says, almost shyly. âYou were intoxicated. I... understand... if you didnât mean them. Water under the bridge, and all that.â
Clara looked at The Doctor for a moment, before putting down her breakfast and walking up to him.
The pair stood face to face, different yet the same, as she raised herself up onto her tiptoes and planted a kiss on The Doctorâs lips.
âI know what you needâ whispered Twelve. âTo get back to bed. Immediately.â
Clara smiled as he took her hand and led her out of the console room.
You could swear he regenerated from her with one liners like these!
Glad Iâm not the only one to be reminded of this! :-)
I only watched a handful of episodes when Star Trek: Enterprise was first shown on TV, but have recently committed myself to watching every episode.
Iâm almost done with season one, and I have to say Iâm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I donât know whether itâs just matured a bit with age, or whether it just had a bad rep for no reason, but Iâm finding it excellent so far.
The exploration of character between Archer and TâPol is brilliant. I hope they donât ruin it in season two...
