I used to babysit these three kids and the eldest who was around 11 at the time was talking about how adults are boring and when I told him I was an adult he said, “That’s not true, you’re my age”

One time I was working with a kid and he looked up at me and asked “Do you have a boy?” I had no idea what he was talking about, but I told him that I did not have any boys. I was sitting on the floor with my 3yo niece and we were playing with her younger brother’s alphabet blocks and the O had an octopus on it.  So I picked it up and asked her what it was.

“Octopus,” she said, all curls and smiles.

“And what kind of animal is an octopus?” I asked.  I was looking for “fish” or “sea creature” but I would have accepted almost anything–”weird,” “gross,” even “slimy.”  “Underwater” or “it lives in the ocean” would have also been acceptable. 

She looks me right in the eye and says, happy as a clam, “It’s a cephalopod.”

I haven’t been the same since.

6. How did they become official?

Oh boy…

So for a long time, X did NOT want Omega anywhere near Brook. (For valid reasons.) But… he also knew it was… inevitable that they would get together. So he DID have a checklist for Omega. Certain criteria he had to fill in order for X to allow him to date Brook.

But even then, X didn’t give his blessing until Brook and Leviathan were kidnapped. (Which is its own story lol)

13. How would the pair do in an escape room? What kind of room would they choose and would they get out?

Probably not well… Detectives, these two are NOT. Omega is definitely falling for every other red herring, and Brook is falling for the rest lmao

So regardless of which one they choose, they ain’t making it out, chief.

What did the pair compromise for each other, if they did?

Axl and Pallette:

Axl definitely had to become a little less reckless. He’d scare the crap out of Pallette, though she IS in part used to his stunts, what with being his navigator. But he’d still have to learn to tone it down a bit lol

Pallette, meanwhile, definitely had to learn to tone down the bossiness. And the bullying lol

What made you start shipping them?

X and Alia:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I love the “canary in a coal mine” parallels to them. Alia is saving X in a quiet, meaningful way. All while he’s in the worst place of his life.

It just means a lot to me.

If they get married, what would their wedding be like? (Location, food, guests, wedding outfits, etc)

Brook and Omega:

Brook is definitely taking charge here (Omega isn’t exactly… savvy on this stuff lol)

But she’d definitely want a more private wedding. Close friends and family only. Brook would either want a traditional western style wedding in the Rockies, or more of a traditional Eastern style one. Depending on how much of a budget she had and if everyone could travel. If they can, Rockies it is! If they can’t, she’s content to stay in Japan.

But she would definitely try getting barbecue catered—
