OK, so my original plan to have Alesh dual wield seems to have been shot right out now. LOL Smashy with hammer is just so much easier than trying to coordinate each hand independently.

Back to dual wielding. Gonna give it a fair go but keep the warhammer in reserve. Alesh is now at level 4 and has made it to Whiterun. And resisting the urge to smash in the heads of the snooty Battle-Borns for being jerks to everyone.

Started back on Kestor’s game, proceeded to forget where I stashed half my stuff, and realized that most of the INTERESTING quests I have left are not really in character for Kestor so I am starting a new character save.

Changed my mind. Too little left to do. So, meet Kestor’s sister, Alesh!

She’s the one who went off making money by probably-less-than-legal means to send back to their ailing parents. Kestor was sent the money but never knew where it came from, and was afraid to ask. Alesh was perfectly happy not to ever tell him, knowing her brother wouldn’t approve.

I’ve been a bit sparse due to health issues this year, but ExtraLife marathon day is upon us. I doubt I’ll be able to be on all day as I’m still feeling rough, but if anyone’s still out there watching, any requests for what to do for the day? PC is limited to Stardew Valley, ps3 I have a few things I can pick up. Can do Skyrim (either staying with Kestor and taking requests on where to go - keeping in mind most of the main quests are already finished with him - or starting a new character), Dragon Age Origins or 2 (don’t have Inquisition unfortunately)... I have a couple of the Assassin’s Creed games. I have Oblivion which I haven’t picked up in quite some time.

Still no streaming setup or any way to get proper screenshots, as always, but I can still blog about anything interesting and take my cheesy camera shots of the TV like I’ve been doing.

I’d like to make a good-faith effort to get at least SOME gaming done today at some point.

OK Calico Desert in Stardew Valley is now dead to me. I had JUST convinced myself to buy the galaxy hammer for the special attack (which kicks butt by the way), went down into the desert mines, was making progress, SO CLOSE to level 25 for that one quest... then I got SWARMED by monsters 2 levels in a row, and got knocked out faster than I could eat anything or get to/build a ladder. Lost ALL of my geodes, ALL of my food, AND MY SUPER EXPENSIVE GALAXY HAMMER.

I’ve been a bit lacking in updates this year. I’m sorry to say there hasn’t been much Skyrim play to go on. Health issues have abounded and I’ve been a bit caught up in that for a while. Instead I’ve been playing a lot of Stardew Valley (with no screenshots yet as the machine I’m working from makes screenshots a bit of a pain and I can’t access my 3rd-party capture software from fullscreen). Would anyone want me to talk about SV related things here? Is that a thing people would be at all interested in? Mostly I’m playing it because it’s fairly relaxing and low-energy but I know it’s also a fairly popular game.
