And when he does respond— he seems really annoyed that I was uncomfortable— thank you, again, by the way…I was planning on telling the headmistress, but it feels like he’s— watching me. The worse part of it all was that I am actually rather good at Quidditch! Was Seeker back home even! I’m rather slender, and light weight. Keeps me agile and swift. Was my first time performing in front of everyone. I nearly made my school, Durmstrang, look like a laughing stock! Luckily I am uh Heh. Rather used to falling off my broom, so I left rather un bruised. Can’t say much about the others. Can you imagine if Kevin was up there? Or Robin? Oh Robin might have simply died from the humiliation! I do not even wish to think of my poor friends in such a state! No no no! I do ponder whatever could have been a cause of such a crime…….Suppose Daniel, Ivy, and myself should look into it. Whoever did it will certainly have a friendly chat with that walking staff of mine. Only a crime if you get caught, that’s what Mr. Weasley taught me!

After the incident, i don’t think Basil likes brooms anymore. Still trying to find out who led to all those crashes— it’s not, fun. But what can I say..? It’s been around a week or two. I don’t think he likes flying anymore, sadly.

The ‘prank’ really wasn’t funny.

Oh come on, Danny. Flying is wonderful! Have you ever flown through the mountains, in the dead of winter? Oh nothing compares! I’ll let you ride my personal broom, and teach you myself! All the ropes! You’ll love it! I promise you!

As for how I am doing? Frankly, between you and me, better here then Durmstrang. That’s for sure. It is wonderful and lovely here! So many things to do, so much to explore. Hardly have time.

Suppose what’s filling up said time now, though, is wondering who would ever pull such a trick. I’ve never seen a broom hex like that in Mr. Weasley’s shop. I should know. In there every weekend! I wonder if any of the brooms are left. Maybe I can bring one to him, and see if he has any ideas. If anyone knows pranks, it’s going to be him!

Yes, but It wasn’t until what happened, Happened!

People just started dropping down like flies and crashing into eachother! It was a wild one I’ll tell you, and to answer THAT— Yes, the brooms are still there! Madame hooch just thought it was a case of flying jitters at first, but Basil used the specs in the tent. 2 Beater’s bats, a golden snitch, and an odd Box. Along with some kind of odd book— he thought of seeing what you thought of the situation, but you weren’t around. Kevin especially didn’t wanna touch a broom after seeing that, He crashed into something full speed for Merlin’s sake! Basil wasn’t having problems before with his broom, so for it to all of a sudden act up, wouldn’t add up. And exactly, the time is running out quickly.

Anywhere, especially here, is better then ‘home’. I might go to Diagon alley with you to see if he knows what’s up, if we’re able to arrange that between the exams and all the classes.

It really was a scary feeling, I won’t lie. Everything was so normal for the longest time, and then it felt like someone grabbed my broom. Started shaking me around like I was some kind of Giants Baby Rattle!

That is so strange. Very very strange. That’s saying something, given how Hogwarts is. Especially since it was so many brooms. If it was just one or two, but all? Basil sure has good eyes for this. Was to busy with everyone else myself. I think someone actually broke a arm. Poor thing. And I thought my school was violent. Least our brooms don’t treat us like we’re a fire they need to put out! I think our brooms are actually fire proof, now that I think about…..Anyway!

We really should! Maybe we can sneak out during curfew! Mr. Weasley doesn’t close shop until much later when it comes to Friday’s. So we could be able to meet up with him with one of the brooms easy! I hope he has answers. He is a wiz when it comes to Jinx’s and Hex’s after all. Maybe he can even figure out what KIND it is, and that can help us figure out a motive. If we have a motive, then we can narrow it down! Easy peasy! Lemon squeaky! Or…Is it squeazy? Queasy?

But on a more serious note, Yeah that’d work! Let’s just keep it under for a bit, don’t need to get caught. Especially not in this much of a low as it already is. I’ll brew a few more potions just incase filch is still awake by the time we do go, Alright? Can never be too prepared!

Uh yeah! Totally knew that! Definitely! Yep! Just uh. Ya know. Saying. Words. And….Stuff. Yeah!

I’m starting to wonder if you just try and find a excuse to be huddled over your cauldron every hour of the day. As if I can complain. I can’t even make a proper potion for curing boils! Can’t ever time it right. Besides that, we will be fine. Mr. Weasley told me about a secret passage way that leads right outside of school! There’s a passage behind the fourth mirror on the fourth floor. It leads to Hogsmeade, but it means we are out of sight of Filch easy! Just find ourselves a floo network there, and we are as good as a Babbling, Bumbling Band of Baboons! Whatever that means…..

So what if I do?? I like my cauldron! And I like potions, it’s always been my thing, y’know? But that’s convenient! Never knew that actually.

And yeah, it takes a long time sometimes. There are even potions that take days to brew! Just, ever since the whole filch situation regarding my brewing equipment, and the twins- i guess I’ve just been more…cautious and ‘attached’? If that makes sense. It holds some of the— better memories of my life, i dunno what I’d do if something truly happened to it.

I’m not complaining! If you ask me, you are putting the likes or Snape himself to shame with what you can do. I still can’t believe you made a love potion in your first year. Acting like it was nothing! I pity the person that ever tries to mess with you when your pockets are full.

If I can make a promise, it’s this. I’ll be certain no one ever takes away your cauldron. Can’t imagine anyone that even CAN with how heavy it is. But, if anyone tries, expect them to get a broken nose. Along with a few other broken body parts while I’m at it. In Durmstrang, you get what’s coming. You steal something? Expect to have your teeth stolen next! I still remember when Ivan took one of the upper year girls books. His new tooth is made of silver, if I recall correctly. Anyway! I solemnly swear that your cauldron is safe! Also, hit it with a tracking charm! It’s a bit advanced, so maybe ask Ivy for that. Food for thought!

And yeah, it’s not that much to me— it shouldn’t be a surprise that I read ahead in the potions books—

Or just in class as a whole. I can finish it quickly enough to spare me the rest of the period unless it’s regarding reading through the books! Already have my notes, personal tips, etc. imagine the possibilities if you could make your own recipes for potions with unimaginable results and combinations!

I’m actually thinking on a few right now, with measuring things out and tinkering with what’s in it, it shouldn’t be too difficult! You just need to be careful, and as always— read up on your ingredients first. Sometimes It takes being fearless to be great, especially with potions. it’s just nerve-wracking sometimes.

Of course you are already trying to invent new brews. I already recall the hair potion you worked on for our friend. Could make a pretty galleon selling that stuff. Won’t lie, kinda annoying people asking me why I get ‘free potions’ from you. Given I have red hair with black roots. Not my fault one of the side effects of my magic showing was growing out my black hair to red instead. I kinda gave up and just said “Costed me ten galleons for touch ups-“ sooner or later that ten will be in your hands I promise you!

I am beyond excited to whatever you can come up with next! Maybe it’ll be something that Mr. Weasley himself can sell! OH! Maybe you can sell your hair tonic at his shop even! Oh my goodness gracious! We need to talk to him about that! Oh I know he would love to partner with you! Can you imagine that? Your potions selling off like pumpkin cakes in none other then Weasley Wizard Wheezes? I can see that happening! Imagine the look on the twin’s faces when they are unloading the boxes for him, and see YOUR face on the bottles! They’ll faint!

I actually have a few brews already planned! They may be personal, but I wouldn’t mind chatting with you about them— it could help a bunch of folks. I don’t know why I’m so worried about it, I probably overthought it again but it’s not out of bounds..- it’s not just the fact that it terrified me, no, he brought my owlet into it..- Piper was anxious enough as it is, but the sparks got too close..— I tried bringing her to the post office to see how to help her, but she won’t let me get close- not anymore, the sparks literally burnt the feathers off of her…I can’t just..— deal with him, and that at the same time, she shouldn’t have to deal with this…and if he did then I see why they gave it, Fischer was never a nice guy..- I shouldn’t keep ‘playing pacifist’ with him, but I just..- I can’t. I can’t fight, I’m not a fighter— I don’t want other people to fight duels for me, and I know you can stand your ground..- you’re one of the most fearless people I know..- but it makes me feel bad, I don’t know why— it also effected the way she walks, I’m genuinely afraid of him. People just started dropping down like flies and crashing into eachother! It was a wild one I’ll tell you, and to answer THAT— Yes, the brooms are still there! Madame hooch just thought it was a case of flying jitters at first, but Basil used the specs in the tent. 2 Beater’s bats, a golden snitch, and an odd Box. Along with some kind of odd book— he thought of seeing what you thought of the situation, but you weren’t around. Kevin especially didn’t wanna touch a broom after seeing that, He crashed into something full speed for Merlin’s sake! Basil wasn’t having problems before with his broom, so for it to all of a sudden act up, wouldn’t add up. And exactly, the time is running out quickly.

Anywhere, especially here, is better then ‘home’. I might go to Diagon alley with you to see if he knows what’s up, if we’re able to arrange that between the exams and all the classes.

I’m actually thinking on a few right now, with measuring things out and tinkering with what’s in it, it shouldn’t be too difficult! You just need to be careful, and as always— read up on your ingredients first. Sometimes It takes being fearless to be great, especially with potions. it’s just nerve-wracking sometimes.

People just started dropping down like flies and crashing into eachother! It was a wild one I’ll tell you, and to answer THAT— Yes, the brooms are still there! Madame hooch just thought it was a case of flying jitters at first, but Basil used the specs in the tent. 2 Beater’s bats, a golden snitch, and an odd Box. Along with some kind of odd book— he thought of seeing what you thought of the situation, but you weren’t around. Kevin especially didn’t wanna touch a broom after seeing that, He crashed into something full speed for Merlin’s sake! Basil wasn’t having problems before with his broom, so for it to all of a sudden act up, wouldn’t add up. And exactly, the time is running out quickly.

Anywhere, especially here, is better then ‘home’. I might go to Diagon alley with you to see if he knows what’s up, if we’re able to arrange that between the exams and all the classes.

I’m actually thinking on a few right now, with measuring things out and tinkering with what’s in it, it shouldn’t be too difficult! You just need to be careful, and as always— read up on your ingredients first. Sometimes It takes being fearless to be great, especially with potions. it’s just nerve-wracking sometimes.

Along with some kind of odd book— he thought of seeing what you thought of the situation, but you weren’t around. Kevin especially didn’t wanna touch a broom after seeing that, He crashed into something full speed for Merlin’s sake! Basil wasn’t having problems before with his broom, so for it to all of a sudden act up, wouldn’t add up. And exactly, the time is running out quickly.

Anywhere, especially here, is better then ‘home’. I might go to Diagon alley with you to see if he knows what’s up, if we’re able to arrange that between the exams and all the classes.
