I’ve been slowly working on a project for the last year called As I Walk. It started just as a creative exercise. Go out, walk around and make some photos. In many ways it still is.

For me, the work’s existence is nebulous. Void of any real concept other than the process in which I capture the images; a straight documentarian approach to visually take in the world around me without interfering with it ..and my reactions to the photographs once they have been made.

Looking back through the images, what has driven me most to keep adding to the series are the answers to the question of why did I make that photo?
