What's a gastric sleeve? Sorry I tried to look it up but I didn't see much like explanation for what it is

So the gastric sleeve is a bariatric surgery and the gist of it is that they remove 80% of your stomach to make it smaller, and also take the fluid that makes your stomach growl out. 😊

It's not all about sizes, but the fact that I can see something I like and they actually have a size that fits me is pretty exciting.

Living on campus has me walking around a crazy amount.

Yesterday I had my surgery. I'm hot gonna lie, I am absolutely miserable. My doctor said he removed 23 lbs of just extra skin, not including the liposuction to my back! My legs feel like jelly. I was so out of it I passed out and fell on the ground at the hospital after walking maybe 6 steps. Please continue to send me positive vibes, and I promise I will respond to messages when I'm not in as much pain. I love you guys, and thank you so much for all of the support! ❤️

I'm so excited!!!! I finally found a surgeon in my price range who will do everything I want and I really like him. July 14th I will be going under the knife! 🔪💉 I couldn't be more nervous of the pain if I tried, but fuck it. I've lost 150 lbs. I think I can survive just about anything mentally and physically now. I'll make sure to document the entire journey!!!

You know what is the cutest? Boys who have a lil chubby tummy, it’s so soft and warm and the cuddles are amazing

Finding old photos makes me simultaneously cringe and feel so proud of myself. What makes the first photo even worse is that I was in the drive thru for a plate of food that's approximately 2,000-2,500 calories and hell knows how much fat. Now I drive place that place on a weekly basis and pay it no mind. 😬

I used to be insecure about the lines around my eyes that arrived in my late teenage years. I always thought I was too young to already have them. Then I realized they are just a side affect of smiling so much, and now I love them. If there's one thing you shouldn't be insecure about, it's being happy.

Dear extra skin, There's no nice way to put it... I just hate you most of the time. I love the rest of me, but god, I hate you. You still make me feel like the fat girl in middle school that everyone picked on some days. It's like no matter how much weight I lose, I still feel fat. I can feel the muscle, and when I pull you all different ways to see what's underneath I can see a flat stomach, little arms, and muscular legs. You really suck. However, I won't let you define me. Oh hell no. Just like I won't let the people that picked on me define me. I can and will get you to go away, but for now, I'll live with you. Everyday I'll wake up, look in the mirror, and point out something I love about myself. Today I love my little butt, maybe tomorrow I'll love you.
