A scenario where Itachi has a female best friend in high school and middle school Sasuke has a crush on her and confess his feelings!
Murmured voices were whatbrought his attention from the book he was reading to the wall to the right ofhim. Knowing of who was with his brother in the next room caused his heart tofastened its steady beat to a frantic rhythm. He clicked his tongue, annoyed bythe way his body reacted to {Name}. Attention back on the book, he ignored thevoices to the right of him, that was until a loud shout startled him.
âWhat the..?â He mutteredand glared daggers at the wall.
Another shout and anotherspark of frustrated irritation swelled within him. His body was moving beforehe could even register what it was doing until he jerked his brotherâs dooropen.
âWhat the hell is going inhere?â He snapped, his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes squinted into a fierce glare.
His brother and {Name} saton the floor, their eyes moving from the television screen to him.
âWeâre just playing agame.â Itachi said, a gentle smile forming on his lips as if doing so wouldconsole the aggressive younger sibling.
âYouâre being too loud. Otherpeople live here; I hope that didnât slip your mind.â Sasuke scoffed.
âDonât be that waySasu-chan.â {Name} chimed, a teasing smiling plastered on her plump lips. âIknow fun is hard for someone so serious as you to understand, but we were socaught up in our game we didnât notice that we were being too loud.â
His scowl hardened as herteasing threatened a blush to scatter across his pale cheeks. Her cheeky grinnever faltered as he snapped at the two to keep in mind that he was in the roomnext store trying to read. He left the two before either could respond, afraid thatthe blush he was trying his best to keep at bay would take over his cheeks. Heleant against his bedroom door after he closed it, his eyes locked onto hisfeet. His cheeks now a deep scarlet, he clawed at the fabric that covered hischest. He could hear the thumps of his heartbeat in his ears and could feel thefierce way it beat underneath his palm.
âDamn it,â He muttered, thesilent curse somehow echoing through the room louder than any shout.
His mind was filled with herand he was finding himself unable to be annoyed with this fact, but that wasalso what gave him grievances. The allure of her eyes, the way her lips wouldtilt upward in amusement every time he walked into the room, the smell of herhair, the way her hips swayed⌠She haunted him whether he was asleep or awake. Hisnightmare was slowly turning into a blissful state every time he heard hervoice.
âSasu-chan,â The teasing tonehe found himself hooked on sounded from behind him.
Arms wrapped around hisshoulders and over his chest. He glanced up from his spot on the couch to glareup at the young woman that plagued his thoughts every moment of the day. Theglare faltered though when he noticed the redness that burned the edges of hereyes.
âWhatâs wrong with you? Didyour boy-friend dump your sorry ass?â He asked, he meant it as a sarcasticjoke, but the way her lips turned into a saddened smile he found himself neverwanting to take back his words as much as he did in that moment.
She removed her arms fromaround him and jumped over the back of the couch. She landed beside him and inthat small moment where he couldnât see her face, she managed to plaster on abright smile.
âYouâre rude.â She hummed.
âI only speak the truth.â Hemumbled. Well damn, thatâs not what he wanted to say.
Her bright smile crumbled to afrown, the memory that he hadnât meant to speak of brought back to her mind.
âYouâre really mean.â Shewhispered, and her words sounded forced as she tried not to cry.
He opened his mouth, ready toapologize just to get the gnawing feeling of guilt to leave him, but nothingcame out. He could only stare at her as tears dripped from her eyes and ontothe skirt that covered her thighs. Following what his brother did when shecried, he placed his hand on her head.
âYou canât just be mean andthen be nice.â She laughed weakly through her tears.
âYou donât make the rules onwhen someone can be mean and nice.â He countered.
âHe left me for my friend,â shespoke after a few minutes of silence. âSaid she wasnât brash. Said she wasnâtvulgar. Said she was a real girl. What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Whatdoes it mean to be a real girl?â
He blinked, unsure on how heshould answer her. She had never spoken her troubles to him before. Even as shepoured her heart out, he couldnât help but let his swell with happiness.
âWell I donât know this guypersonally, and I donât want to. He sounds like someone to be a pain around.â Hesaid and let his fingers slowly comb through her hair.
âAnd, he must be a real idiotto leave you for someone else. Youâre by far the least annoying person Iâveever met.â He told her, and watched with piercing eyes as she lifted her headup.
âIf I didnât know any better, Iâdsay you were confessing your love for me.â She laughed and wiped her tearsaway.
He should have chuckled andsaid, âYeah rightâ, but instead he just nodded his head. âThat is what Iâmsaying.â
Well shit, he didnât mean tosay that either.
