ever think about how fucking funny birth by sleep is from riku’s perspective. imagine being like four years old playing at the playground with your friend. suddenly someone you’ve never seen before appears. you ask him what he’s up to and after like very little prompting he gets super deep and then pulls a giant fuck-off key out of nowhere and makes you hold it and says some kinda weird chant and then tells you to tell no one what just happened. you’re like “ok” because you are four but like that had to have been weird. then later in the day another person you’ve never seen before literally drops down in front of you and your friend. you autism stare at each other silently until she turns to your best friend and says “hey if your buddy ever turns evil, make him better ok” and then also fucking dips. that night your friend cries for no reason, and you’re like “maybe someone else is sad and you got those feelings or smth” and he then closes his eyes and is like “oh ok i fixed it” and then you go into town and find out a whole third-ass person dropped from the sky, except this one is your age and has amnesia. you forget literally all of that because you are four but then when you’re like seventeen or eighteen you’re chilling with your new dad mickey mouse and then it turns out those two people you met on the island have been lost in the void since you saw them last and you have to drag their asses back out or the world is fucking doomed
