Okay, it probably wouldnât surprise anyone if Ven said that he wasnât the type of person who would like reading books⊠but strangely enough, that was a false statement. The blonde wasnât really sure why, but he was actually drawn to books, especially ones that went over different stories during the Age of Fairytails. Especially the Keyblade War.
After talking to Sora and getting some information where he could find a place that held such a book (A place other than the Land Of Departure since Ventus pretty much scanned that place inside and out). Unfortunately Sora hasnât encountered any place that specialized in books⊠but he did know of a place that might have some.
The brunette spoke of a town that actually had school which definitely had books. The first place he told him of was The Mysterious Tower where Yen Sid lived, and the other place was Twilight Town. Since he was craving some of the townâs popular sea salt ice cream, that ended up being the first place where the teen bagan his search for information.
His fingers grazed over spines of books as his eyes scanned various titles and genres presented in the small library. Blue eyes went from one book to another as he kept his eyes on the bookshelves and not what was in front of him. That would end up being his downfall, as while he was looking around and walking slowly through the isles, the blondeâs head would then bump into something⊠or more like someone which is when he let out a small âoomfâ.
He ruffled his hair as he tried massaging his slightly throbbing head âOwww⊠I- sorry about that. I wasnât looking where I was goingâŠâ
Ventus would look up at the unknown person with a sheepish smile in apology, but when he spotted someone with a familiar face, and eyepatch, he knew that he would be in for a questioning⊠big time.
Xigbar had just been turning around to leave the library, read to tuck the journal safely into his pocket when the bump happened. Truthfully, if it had been just a random kid from Twilight Town he would have shrugged it off and moved on, he was too busy to bother with the locals.
But it just had to be Ventus who bumped into him. Any of the Guardians of Light would be a headache to deal with right now, but Ventus in particular made Xigbar grind his teeth into a snarl.
âWhat the hell are you doing here?â He grumbled, âShouldnât you be out saving worlds or some nonsense!â
The journal had not quite made it to his pocket and Xigbar clutched it to his body, as if hiding it from the boy.
