Mid it’s not to much to ask, any tips on getting into character? I’ve been working on an MTT cosplay for a while and want to do him justice

I do!! I usually forget to post on here, but it makes a good place to archive my cosplay shoots and answer questions to be honest.

In terms of getting into character..I find it helps to memorize character quotes and building off those. Pay attention to the way they speak or the type of language they use and once you get the flow of how they talk it’s easier to make up your own dialogue.

I don’t usually get into character for cosplay unless I’m filming videos or hosting a panel, so don’t worry about having to “act” as the character at a con or anything! Otherwise have lots of fun and find plenty of pose references to keep in mind for pictures!

You really inspired me to actually go through with my mettaton cosplay! Thanks for the extra kick of confidence.

Aaa sorry for the late response, but I hope your Mettaton Cosplay turned out great or that you’ve made wonderful progress on it! It means a lot that I could inspire you to take on making the cosplay and I wish you best of luck with it!!

First shots of my completed Sou cosplay!! I’m so proud with how the wig came out for it…it’s my favourite I’ve styled so far and I feel like I can see so much improvement in it!

YTTD is a game I played recently and I have very much enjoyed the characters and story. I can’t wait to see where the story will go!
