What truly is love?(A sorta poem written by me)
People say you only meet your true love once,
That you need to grab that opportunity while you can before it's too late,
But what about the ones who let their soulmates go?
The ones who lose their soulmates due to their own selfishness?
The ones who let their soulmates walk past without peeping a word?
What about the people who know that they'll never be good enough for their soulmates,
The ones who truly know what heartbreak is.
They usually aren't the best at love, knowing it's pointless in the end,
Everyone leaves in a world where love is only known for lust and sex,
In a world where love hurts more than having your heart ripped out with your bear hands,
And a world where love is a concept no one truly understands.
We live in a world where love is truly only a figment of your imagination,
We say we love, but do we really?
Where love is different for everyone, some feel it some don't, some are a mix of both.....
And her we all feel that empty feeling that never truly leaves,
That lingering feeling of self doubt and hesitation that is there between those intimate moments,
Whether it's a harmless kiss,
A warm and loving hug,
The innocent gesture of holding hands,
Or alot more,
That empty feeling is always there, hungry for more,
That hunger hehe truly leaves, it craves for more love than anyone can give it,
It feeds on others love till we move in to our next victims,
So tell me, what truly is love in this dark and meaningless world?
Is it something you feel when they smile, is it something you feel when they say they love you, or is it something more?
You'll never know, because love is truly just a concept of emptiness and longing that can never be filled by empty words such as..... "I love you"
