A stimboard is a collection of GIFs or otherwise moving images, to calm and stimulate the brain from looking at them, though they can also be used for aesthetic relaxation. For a more in depth definition, try here! (link)
Much like the original "artfight", stimfight is an event run to allow for the stim community to make gifts (or "attacks") on one another with stimboards!
Each attack gives you points for making them, and by the end of the event, everyone's individual points are combined together to determine which of the two teams won!
3. Can I join stimfight, how do I?
Of course, your blog doesn't need to be centered around stimming, nor does it need to be something you've ever done- feel free to join with any experience you have, even if that's none! The form isn't up yet to allow for team sorting (and team choices aren't done yet BUT), when they are you can open the Google form and input the username you're fighting under, what team you'd prefer and if switching teams (to keep relative balance) would be alright!
4. When does stimfight begin?
September 1st, 2026! Everything is being prepped and ready to go now so it's easier as the time gets closer!
In order to make an attack, find someone participating in the event, and go through their wish list. When you find something you want to make, collect the images you think they'd like and bring them together into a stimboard! When you're done with making the board, make sure to add your points somewhere in you're post, and at us and who you're attacking so your points can be counted!
Extra: Attacks don't need to be character focused, they can be aesthetics, animals or anything someone might put on their wish list. For a better guide on how attacks and points specifically works you can click here!
