(OOC under cut)
REBLOG IF YOU HAVE AN RP BLOG I CAN SPAM WITH ASKS
perferably WITH the blog but you guys do you
"OH? THIS IS A NEW ONE... A TRADER? WHAT WARES HAVE YOU TO PLY ME WITH?"
The Dragon looms out of the darkness, her scales packed to bursting with the number of cards in her deck. Seems like she's looking to add to her hoard.
( @stsoc-thedragon )
“Ah, greetings! It’s quite simple really. You can exchange some relics or potions for gold, or some cards, relics, or various other things for some booster packs!”
"EXCELLENT! GIVE ME EVERYTHING YOU HAVE."
The Dragon spreads her wings, allowing a mountain of gold to pile up in front of the trader's rug. Mixed in are dozens of glittering gemstones, a belt full of potions, relics, trophies, useless circlets, and a Wongo's Customer Appreciation Badge for some reason.
"BEFORE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO MISUNDERSTAND. I AM NOT ASKING FOR 'A LOT' OF CARDS, OR 'A LARGE AMOUNT' OF CARDS, OR EVEN 'ALL THE NON-CURSED CARDS.' I WANT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE HERE."
“…well first off, put that gold away. I do not BUY or SELL. I trade. And very well then.”
The Dragon has lost multiple relics and potions, along with a few cards, to gain 3 of each pack, along with large amounts of Gold!
Common/Uncommon/Rare Pack: Basically trading an equal tier card for a card reward with ONLY cards from that tier.
Hexed Pack: Offers you a choice of 3 cards that each have a curse tied to them that, if you remove the curse, it removes the card that came with, and vice versa. Each card is themed after the curse tied to it.
Fractal Pack: For a random relic, you can pick 3 card rewards that contain cards from other characters.
Token Pack: In exchange for 2 Basic Cards, you can pick from 1 of 2 Tokens to shuffle 3 of into your deck at the start of each combat.
Relic Pack?: In exchange for a Common Relic, you can gain a random “relic card”, all based on Common Relics, that do much different effects from their actual relic counterparts.
Example of relic card:
Sharpening Stone
Rarity: ???
Type: Skill
Cost: 1
Effect(s): Enchant a random card in your hand with Honing 2. Exhaust.
Honing: Whenever you play this card, gain X Honed.
Honed: The next Attack/Skill you use has all of its numbers(except for Cost) increased by X.

Happy Pride!!! Remember that your identity is always valid and that all labelled purchases are 20% off for the month! Make sure to support your local queer businesses!
“Or come gamble on booster packs! Your choice!”
If you could have any spire creature as a pet ( excluding Byrdonys and Byrdpip since you already can have them ), who would you pick?
Hm… there are many great contenders…
I would sometimes draw the creatures that I faced in combat and show them to the Nymph, and from what she’s learned, she insists that the hunter killer is the cutest. If she had to fight it in person, she’d surely change her mind. I have too many scars to find it cute anymore…
I know! The Lagavulin Matriarch! It’s strong, cute, and seems somewhat easy to placate. plus, you get all those baby lagavulins as a bonus!
“I personally enjoy Sneckos.”
It seems many feel the guilt of stealing from a small business weighs too heavily upon their hearts, so allow me to ease your burdens.
The Merchant is a for profit corporate chain.
They have crushed all of their competition through their "one man stand" aesthetic and variety of options, with WONGO'S remaining a shell of it's once former glory.
So if you find yourself considering a run to The Merchant, do not forget your Parasol.
Hmph! You dare call me, a lovable local business, a for-profit corporate chain??? I know you're a devil, but you have no shame nor class!
I'll have you know I did not crush any one of my competitors at all and I am ashamed that you would think such a thing of me. I am but a simple Merchant with mouths to feed to get by in such a place like this! Besides, WONGO'S downfall was of their own accord, not mine.
And don't you DARE bring that umbrella anywhere NEAR my shop!
“I miss when they did fast food. I loved the Big Wong, even if the patty was probably ratpig.”
“Why HELLO there madam Lancer! Would you care for some trade?”
@khercuicencesfavorite
I quite like my relics and cards at the moment. I’m not up for random chance. Not that I’ve met you before, but that is what quite a lot of the other sentients in the spire like to do. If you have hard and fast trades, or card removals, I COULD use some of those.
“Are you sureeee? You could trade for some booster packs! Maybe….a Hexed Pack?”
Hexed Pack: Offers you a choice of 3 cards that each have a curse tied to them that, if you remove the curse, it removes the card that came with, and vice versa.
Only if the hexed packs have guaranteed rares, and do not come with Shame, Doubt, or Regret.
“Well…not exactly. Let me show you…”
Viral Fortitude:
Rarity: ???
Type: Skill
Cost: 2
Effect(s): Gain 15 Block. Gain 3 Regen.
Drawback: Add 1 Parasite to your Deck. This card is removed if Parasite is.
//is parasite meant to be the one from the first game or the phrog’s Infection?
That does seem good. However: Rush and Slumber already do this, but better and cheaper. I don’t think I need this one.
// first game!
“Perhaps then you might be interested in one of these two?”
Fungal Wrath:
Rarity: ???
Type: Attack
Cost: 1
Effect(s): Deal 12 damage twice. Gain 1 Vulnerable next turn.
Drawback: Add 1 Spore Mind to your deck. This card is removed from your deck if Spore Mind is removed.
Power Boost!:
Rarity: ???
Type: Power
Cost: 3
Effect(s): At the start of each turn, gain Vigor equal to double your unspent Energy last turn.
Drawback: Add 1 Exhaustion to your deck. This card is removed if Exhaustion is.
Exhaustion:
Rarity: Curse
Cost: N/A
Type: Curse
Effect(s): Unplayable. If this is in your hand at the end of your turn, lose 1 Energy next turn.
Art: An utterly exhausted Profane collapsed on the ground.
These… are all completely useless. Far too situational. Give myself vulnerable? No thanks! And take a three-coat power and what is essentially an unremovable void for pitiful amounts of vigor? Not even strength, but vigor? And based on my unspent energy?
These are fit to be Valleygaurd weapons.
“Well…I know you said you’re fine with your relics…but how about some power from your fellow slayers?”
Fractal Pack: For a random relic, you can pick 3 card rewards that contain cards from other characters.
That’s better, but still not worth. Few of the other slayer’s cards work well with my builds. The real problem, though, is the word “random”.
I find myself hating bridges when I look at this pack.
“Eh, everyone’s a critic. You could always play it safeish with the Rarity Packs. They’re real simple. You give me a card of Common, Uncommon, or Rare rarity, I give you a card reward that contains ONLY the cards of the type you gave me. Still putting together further packs.”
Now THAT is a good deal. Take my Smoke Bomb, and get me an actually useful card!
Smoke Bomb - Rare - Skill - 3 Energy
Innate. Unenchantable. Ethereal. Escape from a non-boss combat. Do not gain any rewards. Remove this card from your deck.
“Will do!”
You have traded Smoke Bomb for a Rare Booster Pack!
Shadow Burst - Rare - Attack - 1 energy
Deal 6 damage for every Rush gained this turn. Exhaust.
Negative Speed - Rare - Skill - 3 energy
Double your Rush. Gain 15 block. Regain all rush you spent this turn.
Lucid Dreaming - Rare - Power - 3 energy
You may play one extra card when you are sleeping.
Acquired Negative Speed.
Maybe I’ll see you around sometime, Curio. You are, if nothing else, very interesting.
“Farewell!”

*He just can't hide his smile*
Doesn't sound like much of price to me.
*The bull comes closer, and sits in front of curio, wanting to get rid of at least some discomfort*
It pulls out its shepherds cane, and taps Servant on the head. Almost instantly, old wounds begin to flare back up, as Curio removes some curses.
Curio Card Removal: Removes a random non-curse/basic/ancient/event card along with the selected card.
Sketch c0mm for anon
Sleepy Usagi getting ready for work.
“Smash.”
A trader? How interesting... What do you propose for my findings, ancient-made?
*The servant carries a book of 5 rings and a Dingy rug that he's willing to trade*
@ask-the-servant
“Oooo, that Rug looks interesting! For that, I can get you…..”
It pulls out two things. A somewhat sizable bag of coins, and a shiny foil pack.
“Take your pick!”
What, don't have a rug of your own?
*He snarks before taking the bag of gold*
Do you have something else of interest?
*He can't be bothered with trying to "see" everything, its better to just ask really*
“Welll, I could fix some of those nasty hexes on you! It might sting a bit.~”
*His ears perk up a little*
Oh? How interesting... How much do you charge? Is it just one time like with the merchant?
“Oh no, I don’t charge. That little sting I mentioned is the price.”
