Utahraptor for today's @a-dinosaur-a-day list. These guys feel like the Cretaceous equivalent of a lion to me, maybe - so much bulkier than any of our modern birds of prey.

Was experimenting with simple backgrounds and ended up with this one which was perfect for a dinosaur art, so I chose to draw Spinosaurus from JP3. His red and blueish grey skin complements the background's greens.
