Bruder West Tell ME why du Drink so much
(Hey, I don’t mean to be a buzzkill or anything, but I’d rather not respond to questions/interactions like this? I’m German myself, and the question “why do you drink so much” is a little inappropriate in my opinion because Ludwig does in fact not drink very much? It’s a silly thing to assume and I frankly dislike having my culture portrayed/assumed to be about the consumption of a lot of alcohol—or that the latter plays a big role in that, because unlike what people think, it really doesn’t.
Also I’m just going to throw this out there: if you send a question/message/whatever to me, it’d be really great if you wouldn’t just throw random words of my language in there, assuming that the way you’re using it is correct when it’s not. Maybe that’s just me, but it does in fact make me a little uncomfortable. Dunno why.)
I’m German tho und most of das Germans I know drink a lot)
(Claim whatever you want, obviously everyone’s free to do that. I want you to know that your posts and the way you act are offensive and that I am not the only one thinking this way either. I for one am a German, living in Germany, and I can tell you that your ridiculous assumption is nothing but wrong and honestly disgusts me.)
I… I don’t even live in Germany but this is so fucking naSTY??
(Glad to see people share my feelings about this. Honestly, you don’t even have to live in Germany to understand that claiming something like that is very offensive and uncomfortable for people who are actually part of that nation & culture? I don’t understand people know what being German actually means, aside from racist stereotypes and germanophobic bias. It’s a shame, but I was waiting for something like this since others have pointed that blog out to me before, and they tried to interact with me on a different blog before.)
(( Assuming hurtful stereotypes is wrong and incredibly damaging to not just the culture but the people themselves. Just because you apparently know ‘a lot of Germans’ that drink a lot, you also gotta realize that % is incredibly small in comparison to the actuality of Germans: IE, the 80 million citizens of Germany, Germans living abroad, and even people of German descent who are respectful of their heritage. From what I’ve seen and learned from my fiance, Germans have a drinking culture but that doesn’t mean the American (As in North America, not just the USA) hyped up ‘drinking to get wasted’ ‘style’ of drinking. That’s something a lot of people seem to get wrong. American drinking = / = German drinking. There’s a huge difference there. Just because you’re supposedly of German descent doesn’t mean you actually know about the country or how it works, thus I’d genuinely suggest educating yourself about the actual facts of life within the country’s borders. Also, taking the language of your descended background and butchering to sound edgy is incredibly disrespectful and shows that you really don’t genuinely care about your background. If you did, you’d realize that Germans don’t actually talk like that in English and how nice of a language actually is and shouldn’t be chopped up for shits and giggles like that. It also makes you look uneducated because there’s a bunch of rules depicting when and where you need to use certain words. I am of French descent, but I’m going to run around claiming that I am French when I don’t live in the country or run around butchering the language. Why? Cause that’s freaking rude and incredibly disrespectful.))

Why don't Iranian in America really know about Islam and why don't they pray and women don't wear hijab? Most of the Iranians where I'm from don't know much about Islam, Shia or not they really don't care
The context of Islam is different in Iran than it is in other countries. There are many Iranians in the US who are religious and do practice, but it’s more common among older generations. Many Iranians left Iran during the Islamic Revolution in 1979 to avoid living in an Islamic theocracy, which is why many who left the country because of that may distance themselves from Islam or not practice much. Iran went from a quite liberal and progressive democracy to a theocracy based on Sharia law, and many Iranians, both religious and not, do not support the new Islamic regime in Iran, and the only reason Iran is no longer a democracy is because Great Britain and the United States overthrew our democracy due to oil greed (look up Operation Ajax) and implemented puppet dictators, which led to the Islamic Revolution and the rise of the new, unfavorable regime.
I’m a Shia Iranian and whenever I tell family friends or whomever that i’m fasting, etc. they are often surprised because I’m an Iranian living in the states and because of this history of how Islam was introduced to Iran and how unfavorable the new regime is, it’s not common to see younger generation Iranians practice Islam as much as older generation Iranians or Iranians still living in Iran.
Hope this answers your questions!

When I get hooked on a new show.
how are you doing mun? got a job right? :D will we see more of Iran oneday soon?
[[ (ʘ‿ʘ;) Top bunch is from work, after break in post is what I do at home. But yes! I did get a job, and it’s been a bit of an organization mess and getting everything settled… But now it’s all worked out, so I won’t be stressing over that and can shift focus back to what I can do in my free time and ‘reschedule’ that better. Of course you’ll see more Iran <3. First I have a few things to finish for @ask–turkey and then it’ll be Iran’s turn.

How to Import to Wordpress
Importing to Wordpress is actually a lot easier than it sounds, the only issue I had was actually finding the dashboard since it was the first time I had ever made one. With the current unknown situation with Tumblr due to Yahoo, I know a lot of people are looking as to how to import their posts to another site like Wordpress. So let’s get right into it.
1. Make a Wordpress - This is pretty self explanatory. Make a Wordpress, pick your URL, your theme, ect. Just like Tumblr. Note that only certain ones are available for the free plan though! Verify your email once you got that done.
2. Go to your Dashboard - Head on over to your dashboard. This can be found by typing in your url for Wordpress and then adding /wp-admin to the end of your url. Example: yourwpurl.wordpress.com/wp-admin 3. Locate Tools on your Dashboard navigation. - Locate the Tools option on your Dashboard navigation. Once you find that, click it and then click Import.
4. Select ‘Tumblr’ and then Connect the two sites. - I know a lot of people get funky about connecting their Tumblr to things, but for Wordpress importing it’s necessary. Simply connect the two sites and then Wordpress will be able to access all of your previous posts.
5. Select your blog - Once Wordpress is connected to your Tumblr you will see your primary blog as well as any side blog you have listed. Since I already have ask–Turkey and ask-persia imported, I used my art blog as example. You’ll see an option to ‘Import This Blog’ as a button on the same line that your blog is listed. Click that!
6. Happy Importing! - Once you click that, you’ll notice that Wordpress will start importing all your posts. They will be in proper order; Newest first, oldest last. So don’t worry about that. Depending on the number of posts it can take awhile. Ask–turkey took much less time than ask-persia did. However, while it’s importing, you can open a new tab and start working on your Wordpress blog and its pages in the mean time.

(( Munday: have you ever RP NSFW? //run ))
[[ I have. Also depends on how broad your definition of NSFW is, since some can just include violence but not hur hur~. Seeing as I’m a sucker for historical roleplays, a lot of different elements come into them. I also take more of a realistic tone with them. I’m not randomly going to start from the get go with a ‘smut’ rp without any reason. It’s basically the same as a one night stand, and I’m not into that scene. However, those kinds of RPs I only do with my partner. I’m only comfortable with him, and it crosses my moral compass. I also know his age, what he’s comfortable with, ect, ect. There’s a lot of people who are underage that will lie just to get smut and being someone who is of legal age, that’s pretty scary to me. ]]
Tumblr would enjoy this I thought
this is so ridiculous lol.
Two totally different personalities lmao
the joy on their faces my heart
(I'd like to add my own two cents to the discourse re: America being multicultural, since we talked about that before. America's just like other countries when they were first founded; people from various ethnicities come together and form a new national identity. Look at all the people that live here that are German, but their families originally came from other countries. So yes, America's a mess, but it's a beautiful mess. Take pride in what you are, don't pretend to be something you're not.)
