WHOO BOY im a bit out of touch with my own au since its been a hot sec but WE PERSERVERE!!!! god. wind and lost huh??? they are very "i want to be your older brother but i dont know how" lost had a sister who was younger, yes. so he's used to having younger siblings. but with wind??? with wind its different. it's been 5+ years since hes had a younger sibling, and wind is so wildly different considering his status as hero it's like he doesn't know how to be an older brother at all. he doesnt even know if he can be a brother. however, what he does know is how to be a guard. he can be a protector. it's not what wind might want, but its all he can give at the moment. especially since he doesn't particularly let himself bond with the chain until later also, lost has his own thoughts about wind's insistence that he isn't a kid. he was in a similar boat (hah) but it was pushed onto him. he wants wind to flourish in a way that he himself was never allowed to. he wants him to be silly and have some of the weight of the world taken away from his shoulders. he can let wind stumble and laugh, and he'll patch up the scrapes. maybe one day he can join him.

the urge to make a post like the cheesecubes for Twi one but instead it’s “every note this post gets is One hug I will let someone give Warriors after I literally tortured his ass for a month straight” but y’all have already demonstrated a terrifying ability to give a post nearly 500 notes, and I think after 20 hugs Wars would start to get a bit overwhelmed and it would no longer be a good time for him-

so instead:
