“No problem, that’s probably what most people would have assumed. I haven’t even riden on the back of one” she added, with a shrug. “A job’s a job, I guess… what would you like to be doing?” 

“You haven’t? I couldn’t wait until I was allowed to buy my very first motorcycle. I don’t do cars, they make me feel slightly claustrophobic.” Kian didn’t like to be kept in small spaces for a long time, it made him extremely uncomfortable. “I’d like to be working with animals, actually. I didn’t go to university though. I couldn’t afford it, so I’m kind of stuck serving food for the rest of my life.”

“Be honest. On a scale of one to Mad Hatter, how nuts does this hat make me look? One being, ‘you don’t look crazy at all, Nae, I think you should totally wear that out in public’.”

“You want my honest opinion? I think it looks nice on you. I couldn’t pull that off at all. I wouldn’t say you look crazy though. I’d go with a low number, one or two perhaps?”

“I stay in front of the camera… hence sitting on motorcycles without any of them actually moving” she said, with a small laugh. “It’s alright… what do you do… work wise?” 

“oh.” Kian stated, feeling totally idiotic. “I thought you meant that you had been on the back of a motorcycle but hadn’t exactly rid one yourself.” He stated, chuckling as he admitted so.  “I’m sorry.” He continued, for not understanding her. “I don’t do anything exciting. I’m a waiter. It isn’t the best job in the world, but it pays.”

Brianna nodded, lightly, “I’ve sat on a lot of motorcycles, but I never got the changce to actual ride one” she said, casually. When he asked what she would be doing, she shrugged. “I have a photoshoot from  noon till four, and then I’m free the rest of the day.” 

“I’ve been riding them since I was a teenager, I need to save up and get something good though. A motorcycle that won’t break down.” Kian continued jogging, before a sly smirk spread across his lips. “Are you the model or the photographer?” He asked. “I could see you being either, hence why I asked.” He mentioned, shrugging as he said it. Kian was rather blunt and you could either like that or not. “It sounds fun though. I wish you the best of luck with that.”

“What do you need to do today? ” she asked, before realizing that it was nosey and rude. “Sorry, none of my business, "I just don’t talk to many people outside of work, and was curious” she added, as she continued jogging.

The blonde smirked when the girl retracted on the comment she made. He didn’t mind sharing what he was doing, that wasn’t a problem for him. “I’m going to work soon, then I’m going to find whats wrong with my motorcycle so I can find the parts than I need to buy.” He muttered. “Pretty boring to be honest.” The blonde smiled weakly at the girl. “ You up too much today?”

“Yeah, it was loads of fun,” Jackson commented. “We should do it more often. I sure as hell don’t get enough time off to just hang out.” He followed Kian out through the doors of the bar, the brisk January wind cutting through his coat and straight to his bones, he chuckled a bit. “You sure you wanna walk in this?”  He asked, gesturing to the air, obviously meaning the weather. “It’s pretty chilly out tonight. You want to share a cab or something?”

“I agree. It’s the same for me. I don’t go out much, so it was nice having some good company.” Kian held the door for Jackson, before closing it behind the two of them. The blonde felt the cold air hit him straight away. It probably wasn’t the greatest idea to walk in the air that felt like it pinched your skin as soon as you moved. “Didn’t realize it was going to be this chilly.” He muttered, shaking his head as he said so. “Yeah, go on then. I’ll share a cab. I can do a walk tomorrow.” He stated, grinning at his quick. decision change.  “That cool with you man?” Kian asked, just making sure Jackson was happy with Kian sharing a cab with him. If he wasn’t, Kian could walk.

Brianna continued to jog, a part of her early morning ruitine. She’s very much used to people joining and leaving the trail, because New York never runs out of people. What she’s not used to is people actually talking. “Sorry, were you talking to me?”

The blonde usually went on a jog before and after work. It calmed him down after being focused on being a waiter. It wasn’t the hardest job in the world, but being greeted and moaned at by customers wasn’t the greatest feelings, so jogging let him clear his head so he could go in as ‘mr nice guy’. “I was talking to myself.” He mentioned, smiling weakly at the brunette. “Reminding myself of what I need to do today.” He admitted. “Did I startle you? I’m sorry if I did.”

“I dare you to give me a pick up line that’s not overly cheesy or overused. I don’t have anything to give you in exhange but this coffee, but I guarantee it’s the best damn coffee you’ll ever taste in your entire life.” Melissa said, shrugging slightly.

“How about this one?” Kian muttered, as a small smirk spread across his lips. “On a scale of 1 to 10, you’re a 9. I’m the 1 you need.” Kian scrunched his face up, realizing that it didn’t sound very fetching. “That was bad, wasn’t it?”

“Ah don’t beat yourself up over it. I’m sure you’ll find it.”

“I really hope so. It’ll be a little awkward if I can’t and I can’t afford my bills out the end of the week. I’m trying to not think so far ahead, incase that is the case.”

“That’s the truth. I’m already terrified of the headache I’m going to have in the morning. I gotta be at the hospital at 7, too. How lucky am I?” Jackson chuckled sarcastically as he looked over at the blonde that also seemed to be getting ready to leave as well. “Hey, it was nice drinking with you though, man. You headin’ out, too?” 

"Lets hope its a headache and not a full on hangover.” Kian muttered, smiling weakly at Jackson before pulling his leather jacket on. It was much colder outside than it was in this building, which was warm enough. “Yeah same. Didn’t expect any company, its been good talking to you. mate” Kian ruffled his own hair up with his hand, before nodding his head. “May as well. I’ll probably go for a walk or something. I don’t think I’m totally drunk, so I should be fine.”

“Lets hope it works in my case. It was a wallet. It didn’t have loads in it, but some savings.  Money in a brown leather wallet. If you do see it, or hear someone bring it up, you’ll let me know, right?”

“I think that’s it for me,” The intoxicated male fumbled with his coat trying to pry it off the chair he was sitting in before pulling it on, “I should go home while I can still stand up.”

“I think thats a good idea, mate.” The blonde put his leather gloves on, as he focused on the man not too far away. “Better to be safe than sorry, right?”
