"I’m sorry," Sydney said softly, deciding it would be best that she just shut her mouth. Sydney nodded. "It’s nice to meet you, Kiara. I wish it were under different circumstances that we met." Sydney bit her lip, looking around at the commotion.
Kiara shrugged a response to Sydney's words. "Yeah, I should probably go find some of Ellies friends and tell them what happened. See you around" She stated walking away from the girl.

"Gotcha," Sydney said, watching the girl. She could tell how shaken the girl was. Almost as if the images were replaying in her mind. Sydney understood where the girl was coming from. She didn’t know Sydney, so she had every right to not want to talk. But everything Syd said was out of sincerity and empathy.
"I’m sorry. I just want to help," Sydney said, keeping her voice calm as the other girl snapped at her. "Yeah, he likes letting people know his opinion. He can be a real goofball." Sydney chuckled. It was the first time she had smiled since earlier that day before the incident on the roof.
"I understand but you're not the person I want to talk to about this" She replied and listened to the girl. "I don't really know him so I wouldn't know." Kiara shrugged. She didn't really know what to say to the girl at all, but she realized the girl might not know her name,"I'm Kiara, in case you didn't know. I highly doubt you would've, though."
