I might start blocking people freely now or later because sometimes I feel like I have to hide parts of myself from certain people. It's draining, not to mention overwhelming trying to impress someone. Anyone actually. That's why I blocked unfairness from one of my accounts, I felt like I couldn't be who I identified as around them and their rules were weirdly specific. To me at least? I respect their boundaries and everything of course! But sometimes they even made ME a little uncomfortable (๑•́︿•̀๑)

I'm sorry that we couldn't be friends. I'm sorry you had to deal with how I was acting and it makes me feel ashamed of myself. I'm sorry I wasn't honest with you in how I felt and honestly I'm not even sure if this counts as an apology since we don't even talk. I'm sorry if you think I'm weird, I am weird I guess? But I hope that you'll go far in life, and maybe if it's even possible we can be friends. (If you don't think I'm crazy or something - I promise I'm not I'm normal ᜊ꒦ິ^꒦ິᜊ)

I know everyone and their mothers are going to be posting about Jax's eyes the split second he woke up during his near-abstraction, but I'm way more interested in what this revealed: How it feels when somebody abstracts.

He's Happy. He's genuinely tranquil. All those people who abstracted, in their last moments of despair and anguish, slip into a deep, serene sleep that they never wake up from. There's something morbidly beautiful about that.

It may be dark to compare this, but this is also how people feel prior to a planned suicide. They feel lighter, freer, because they know it’ll all be over soon. The only thing they look forward to is being gone and it frees them from the pains of their existence.

So take this moment to notice the signs. If your terminally depressed friend starts giving away their things, if they seem happier with no actual change happening to make it so(ie. therapy, meds). There are safe ways to intervene and communities to reach out to.

This will be the rare time I talk about my personal life on this blog since I have a more private blog dedicated to that.

I’ve had depression ever since I was a young teen and anxiety my whole life. I’ve had suic1dal ideation on and off for almost 10 years now. I will not go into detail, but I’ve also attempted multiple times. I’ve also been hospitalized for it many many times now.

The only things that made a difference were the fact that I was fortunate to have a supporting and loving community around me. Also my cats, I wouldn’t be alive without them. I got into therapy during highschool but things didn’t really change until I went into my first residential treatment center. I’ve been to two separate residential treatment centers and they’ve made a drastic difference in my life. I’m no longer consistently and constantly suic1dal. I cannot emphasize how I am well aware of how fortunate I am and that such an opportunity for help like this isn’t available to everyone. But in my post above I linked suicide hotlines for various countries.

If you have a therapist or psychiatrist, talk to them. If you ever feel like this, there is help and there are solutions.

Sometimes I genuinely hate being apart of my own parents, like I love them I really do but they are always so backhanded and rude towards me. I can’t even express negative emotions because it’s “bad attitude “ and I get cursed out and threatened by them if I do. I even think the pills I take every day is just a way for them to “shut me up” and make me be “obedient “. I don’t even wanna live in the house anymore because I fear of their yelling and even sometimes hitting.
