Don’t worry about portrayal or about more people RPing the same character as you, because everyone has their own style and portrayal to each character. Trust me, sometimes I feel discouraged when I see a Daisuke blog getting more threads than me, but then I remember that we have the same muse but we have our own way to write/draw him. Please don’t give up, don’t feel discouraged. You deserve love, and lots of love ♥

A voice echoed in the room. And when Takeru realized, Daisuke was there… In front of him, staring at him.

“Now you finally noticed me.”

Why? Why was Daisuke doing that? Why hurt Takeru with that… By telling him lies and making the Chosen lose hope?

“See? You should’ve been on my side since the beginning. They don’t need you, but you need me. I’m here for you. The agents betrayed us, Chosen Children betrayed us, YOU betrayed us. But you know me, Takeru. You know I have no hard feelings, so I’m giving you a chance. Help me, help us. We won’t let the Digital World be destroyed by those agents, we must… Fight them. They are our enemy. We are your friend, I am your friend.”

He was corrupted as well, infected. Those eyes weren’t brown, but red.

“What do you say? Will you stay on Taichi-san’s side or will you fight alongside your own team?”

The agents that were helping them before were bad? Taichi-san..and the others. Were they really bad as well? Takeru’s mind was a whirlwind of emotions. He didn’t feel in control of himself anymore, Daisuke’s words seeming to pull him into this false sense of security. Before he knew it those words sounded like the ultimate truth to Takeru. “I side with my team of course.” Takeru said finally, a somewhat unsettling smile forming on his own face. “After all, you are my leader..Right, Daisuke?” He added, deciding his fate with that one simple sentence. With that one simple sentence the Chosen Children had lost their Hope. Hope was no more.

“I don’t know that much… That’s why I’m more sorry than before. I feel that’s my fault too, but we had to hide the truth from you kids.”

“… I don’t know how to help and giving you confidential information would put our lives in risk. But I’m sure you can find them. And I hope they’re okay…”

He wouldn’t want to lose more people. Daigo felt very… guilty about the disappearance of the other four.

“Don’t tell Himekawa I told you that.”

“I see...” A sigh escaped the blondes lips followed by a discouraged frown. Sure, they could save them if they got there in time but they didn’t even know where to begin looking for their missing friends. What if they were hurt? What if..they were too late? His hands clenched into tight fists, Takeru feeling a lump rising in his throat that he quickly dismissed. “I appreciate you telling me this.” He gave a curt bow to his sensei.  “I know this will be helpful when we figure out more but I just feel bad for not being there with them. I don’t..want to lose anymore friends.”

“I’m… Sorry that Himekawa didn’t want you and the other children to know about that.”

“I even… Fought her because of that.” “I didn’t want to lie about those… Especially when you could… Rescue them.”

“We can rescue them?” Takeru perked up, his heart instantly racing. How? He would gladly do what he could to help his friends..No, they were more than his friends. They were his teammates. People he would lay his life on the line for. “Please, tell me. I want to help them.” he pleaded, hoping to obtain some sort of information to return to Hikari with.
