I think this one lives somewhere between fantasy and a very quiet, very real wish.

That soft moment in the morning when the world hasn’t started demanding anything yet. Light spilling in through the window, catching on skin and fabric, turning something simple into something sacred. Her, wrapped in nothing but my oversized shirt, like it was always meant to belong to her. Too big, slipping off her shoulder, her figure glowing through like it was sculpted by the sun itself…revealing just enough to make my heart ache.

Confident. Aware of herself without performing. Like she knows she’s being looked at, not in a sexualized way, but in that intimate “I see you, and you’re safe” way.

This pose almost made it into my birthday piece, but the lighting just wouldn’t work with the rest of the composition. So I let it exist on its own. A quiet devotion piece. I think that, here, she reminds us that strength can exist without cruelty, and softness without weakness.
